Three Gorges Museum ,Chongqing

Cultural museum displaying regional artwork, stone carvings & relics from ancient & modern eras.The large museum mainly deals with the three gorges and the history of the city of Chongqing A large museum in the city of Chongqing. As the name suggests, this museum exhibits everything related to the Three Gorges and also some of the history of the city of Chongqing. The museum is quite large so it is impossible to see all the collections in a short time. Moreover, Quite interesting, especially with regard to the tribes in the Chongqing area and the Yangtze River. Also the biological life of the Yangtze River. I just learned that in the Yangtze River there once lived giant paddle fish which unfortunately are now extinct. The outside, especially the one facing the Great People Hall, which looks like the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, is a popular area for taking photos.
