Because the Pga Knyau people migrated here before the declaration of Doi Inthanon National Park, the villagers have continued to live there until now. During the period after that, tourism has grown, so Ban Mae Klang Luang has been developed into a tourist attraction for learning about agriculture and rice terraces. To get to Ban Mae Klang Luang, from Chiang Mai city, Drive along Highway No. 108 for about 50 kilometers, then drive along Highway No. 1009 for another 26 kilometers to Doi Inthanon National Park, where Ban Mae Klang Luang is located. Or you can take a bus from Chiang Mai Gate, Chiang Mai – Chom Thong route, fare 35 baht, and from Chom Thong, take the Chom Thong – Mae Chaem route, fare another 70-80 baht.
