Hidden Paradise in selva of Yucatan

Cenote X'batun is the first cenote I’ve ever visited, and it is unbelievably pretty! The water was so clear, and the surroundings were so peaceful with all the jungle greenery. The best part was how quiet it was—there weren’t anyone but me with my boyfriend, so I could really relax and enjoy the moment. I loved watching underwater little fish swimming among the water lilies, it's a whole different world there under the water. We spent lots of time free diving to the bottom of the cenote. It is really difficult to describe with words, but the light hits so beautifully through the water! One tip: wear water shoes because the rocks can be slippery.
