Pay homage to Phra Singh Chiang Saen of Chiang Rai

#VisitChiangRai 🏡Wat Phra Singh, a third-class royal temple, is assumed to have been built in 1928 during the reign of King Maha Phrom. It is called “Wat Phra Singh” because it used to be the place where Phra Buddha Sihing, or “Phra Singh”, an important Buddha image of Thailand, was enshrined. Important and interesting things in the temple are as follows: 🏠 Ubosot, Lanna architecture, Chiang Saen period, assumed to have been built around 1889-1890.
