Wat Phra That Doi Kham, a famous temple in Chiang Mai

#VisitChiangMai Wat Doi Kham is located on a small hilltop in the Doi Kham area, approximately 200 meters above sea level in Mae Hia Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District. It is an important ancient temple with a history of more than 1,300 years since the Hariphunchai period. It is the location of the Phra That Doi Kham pagoda, which contains the relics of the Lord Buddha. But in fact, the original name of this temple was Wat Suwannabanphot, built in 1230 by Chao Mahantayot and Chao Anantayot, the two sons of Queen Chamadevi, the first ruler of the Hariphunchai Kingdom.
