Du Fu Thatched Cottage's Red Plum Bonsai Located in Chengdu, Du Fu Thatched Cottage is famously known as the residence of the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu. The bonsai garden is situated inside the garden area connected to the main exhibition hall, featuring a meticulous arrangement of various bonsai species. From upright and neat pine trees to elegantly twisted Chinese scholar trees and azaleas, the garden showcases a diverse range of bonsai. During spring, the fresh green buds and blossoms harmonize to bring vitality to the space. When we visited, the red plum blossoms were in full bloom, signaling the arrival of spring.
