This trip came from a short thought but a long feeling that “I want to see the field of wild Himalayan cherry blossoms once.” So we organized a 2-day, 1-night chill trip to Phu Soi Dao, Uttaradit. We walked up slowly and the view was worth every drop of sweat! 🗓 Day 1 We started walking up around 9 am. The morning air was cool with a thin layer of fog covering the path. We passed several waterfalls where we could stop to rest, take pictures, and recharge. The path might be steep in some parts, especially the hill to send off relatives 😅 But when we reached the pine field… we were immediately relieved! 🌲 During August–September, the wild Himalayan cherry blossoms started to bloom, alternating with a thin layer of fog that seemed like a dream. The night air was very cold. We slept in a tent and watched the stars. It was so awesome! ✨ 🗓 Day 2 We woke up early to see the fog floating through the pine trees. The atmosphere was like being in a movie. We packed our stuff and prepared to walk down slowly. We stopped by a waterfall on the way. We reached the bottom around the afternoon, ending the trip without rushing.
