Changsha Travel | A Highly Recommended 2-Day City Walk Itinerary

Changsha has been a popular destination for many years, and I regret not visiting sooner ☹️. The rice noodles, stir-fried dishes, and stinky tofu are delicious 😍. Try different dishes each time you eat. The attractions in Changsha are not very exciting, but everyone can find their own way to enjoy them. Here's a highly recommended 2-day City Walk itinerary: Day 1: Orange Isle - Yuelu Mountain - Xiangjiang River Beach - Wenheyou - Du Fu Pavilion Day 2: Chaozong Street - Wuyi Square - Pozi Street - Fengying West Lane - Duzheng Street - Tianxin Pavilion - Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street - ‼️TIPS: 1️⃣ Tickets for the Hunan Museum are in high demand on weekends, so it's recommended to book 7 days in advance. I learned this the hard way 😭. 2️⃣ The entrance to Orange Isle Scenic Area is far from the statue of the great man, so the small train is a good value. 3️⃣ The downhill sightseeing bus in Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area stops running at 5:00 pm outside of summer vacation. If you're not in good shape, be sure to pay attention to the time when going downhill. 4️⃣ There are many cultural and creative streets in Changsha, but they are very similar, so there's no need to visit all of them. - ‼️About the attractions: ✅ Orange Isle: Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tickets 🎫: Free. Transportation: Subway Line 2 Notes: There are many scalpers after you exit the station, so don't listen to or believe them. The sightseeing train in the scenic area costs CNY 40 for a round trip (!!! round trip !!!). ✅ Yuelu Mountain: Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tickets 🎫: Free. Transportation: Subway Line 4 Notes: The downhill sightseeing bus stops running at 5:00 pm. ✅ Xiangjiang River Beach: Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tickets 🎫: Free. Transportation: Subway Line 4 Notes: It's very photogenic after 4:00 pm, and even more so during the blue hour. ✅ Super Wenheyou: Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tickets 🎫: Free. Transportation: Subway Line 2 Notes: There's no difference in photo quality indoors during the day or at night. ✅ Du Fu Pavilion: Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tickets 🎫: CNY 18. Transportation: A 400-meter walk from Wenheyou Notes: There's no need to go inside, as you can take good photos from across the street. ✅ Tianxin Pavilion: Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tickets 🎫: CNY 30. Transportation: Subway Line 1 Notes: You can take photos of the International Finance Center from across the street.
