Approaching the castle across the stone bridge over the Vltava River, which flows through the center of town, the gates and high outer walls filled my view, imbuing me with the imposing power of medieval architecture. The moment I passed through the gates, the noise of the city gradually faded away, and upon entering the courtyard, the stone floors and spacious spaces created a calming atmosphere that naturally slowed my pace. 🌿 Castle buildings layered with architecture from various eras The castle interior is not a simple, single structure; it's a natural continuation of buildings that have been expanded and renovated over the centuries. The murals lining the walls, the texture of the stone pillars, and the pastel-toned exterior walls all reflected traces of different eras. Up close, the delicate stonework and wall patterns were clearly visible, making for a quiet stroll. 🌉 View of the town from the high cloister inside the castle The castle's main attraction is the panoramic view of Český Krumlov's old town from the cloister behind the courtyard. The domed roofs and red tiles, layered in layers, and the river winding around the town in an S shape, unfolded like a picture. Although it was a small town, the topography and building arrangements were so harmonious that the entire landscape felt like a miniature city. When the wind blew, the roofs caught the sunlight and glowed softly, creating an even warmer atmosphere. --- 🔖 | Travel Tips 1️⃣ Be sure to take in the panoramic view of the Old Town from the castle cloister. 2️⃣ Comfortable shoes are essential because it's on a hill.
