Cappadocia’s Quiet Magic in Spring

Spring is the best time to visit Cappadocia, before the summer crowds and heat arrive. We stayed in a cave hotel in Göreme and were treated to crisp mornings and mild afternoons. One sunrise, dozens of hot air balloons lifted off, drifting silently over the pink and ochre valleys while cherry trees bloomed along the trails. We explored the lesser-known Red Valley, where wildflowers lined the paths and ancient churches carved in stone stood in solitude.
