Prasat Muang Tam, Buriram

Prasat Muang Tam is located in Ban Khok Muang, Tambon Chorakhe Mak, Amphoe Prakhon Chai, Buriram Province, approximately 8 kilometers southeast of Prasat Phanom Rung. The castle and the village are located on a relatively round mound, approximately 1-2 meters higher than the rice field. The current location of the castle is Wat Prasat Buraparam to the east. To the north is a large reservoir or baray called Thale Muang Tam, approximately 510 meters wide and 1,090 meters long. The south and west are surrounded by houses of the people. The important water sources of Ban Khok Muang are Thale Muang Tam and Lam Huai Pun, which is a tributary of Huai Prathia to the north, and Huai Nam Khun to the east, which are both sources of water for consumption. #MissingNature #NatureIsAlwaysBeautiful #Buriram
