I heard it's a newly opened drink shop from April, and they occasionally offer special deals for 39 TWD. Their main products are drinks made with sugarcane, lemon, and shaved ice. This time, I ordered the Sugarcane Lemon for 55 TWD and the Winter Melon Lemon Shaved Ice (special price) for 29 TWD. The Sugarcane Lemon drink was not too watery. The sugarcane juice and lemon juice tasted fresh. As long as the ingredients are fresh, these kinds of drinks usually taste pretty good. The Winter Melon Lemon Shaved Ice is highly recommended if it's on special. The sweet and sour ratio of the winter melon and lemon is just right, and the shaved ice adds a nice texture to the drink. It's a pretty good combination. Like pearls, it's best to drink the shaved ice quickly, or the texture will deteriorate. Both drinks I ordered are great for cooling down on a hot afternoon. After eating at Lao Xiang, I even went back to buy another cup to take home.
