Secret Hideaway in Beijing's Fifth Ring Road with Forests, Lakes, Lawns, Hot Springs, and Alpacas

If I hadn't visited this place myself, I wouldn't believe these photos were taken in Beijing, especially within the city limits. Located inside the North Fifth Ring Road, Zaizhihe Resort Hotel is famous among both moms and the hotel industry. Bring your children to interact with alpacas and deer, enjoy a private hot spring bath in your room, and connect intimately with nature. Relaxing for a weekend here is absolutely delightful! 🏠Beautiful Rooms with Private Hot Springs: The rooms are designed with warmth and comfort, featuring quality furniture and decorations with beautiful color schemes. The mini bar includes complimentary drinks and beer! In the evening, they deliver hot pear tea with rock sugar in a thermos, strawberry cream desserts, cookies, and a welcome fruit platter. There are various room types including Japanese-style private hot spring rooms and private hot spring suites. I stayed in a room with a private hot spring on the balcony. Soaking in the hot spring while stargazing at night is wonderful, and filling the tub is as easy as pressing a button. 🍳Breakfast: After sleeping in, head to the first-floor breakfast hall offering various Cantonese dim sum like steamed chicken feet, spare ribs in black bean sauce, and tripe. Everything is tender and flavorful, very authentic. There are also fruits, bread, beverages, salads, and porridge. I especially loved the freshly made pancakes! Coffee is available all day in the breakfast area, and you can take it to the Bird of Paradise Library in the lobby to read. 🌳Lawn and Wetlands: The expansive lawn and wetlands attract many wild water birds for their vacation too! Long wooden walkways extend into the forest, with babbling brooks, scattered petals, and February orchids blooming everywhere. Taking a stroll to enjoy the scenery is beautiful. Bicycles are available to borrow at the lobby entrance. 🦌See Who's Working Today: After afternoon tea at the Peacock Garden Restaurant, I encountered a herd of sika deer and colorful alpacas on the great lawn. You can buy carrots from the nearby vending machine to feed them—they're so fluffy and fun! Swans, peacocks, foxes, ostriches, seagulls, and even capybaras are in enclosures throughout the forest. Wild ducks, black and white swans, wild geese, and various water birds I can't name play around the lawn. Large flocks of pigeons often take flight together, creating a spectacular sight! Next to the lawn is a secret garden called the Peacock Garden Restaurant and a bakery where you can enjoy meals and afternoon tea. One night here doesn't seem enough to experience everything... This place is truly a paradise within the city! I never knew you could live so poetically within Beijing—even locals feel like they're on vacation!
