I'm announcing it! This is the most cost-effective homestay in Beijing!

I recently traveled to Beijing and stayed at the Beijing Everest Hotel. The experience was super unique, and I must share it with everyone! 📍 [Location] The hotel is located at No. 149 Gulou West Street, Xicheng District, in the Guanyue Temple, which has a century-old history and is known as the "Little Forbidden City". It is adjacent to the Bell and Drum Towers and Shichahai, with many surrounding attractions and a strong old Beijing flavor. It is very convenient to go to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Shichahai and other attractions from here. It is 1 km from Gulou Dajie subway station on subway Line 2, so it is still convenient to travel, but it takes some time to walk from the subway station to the hotel. 🏡 [Environment and Atmosphere] As soon as you enter the courtyard, you will see century-old trees, a giant screen wall, and a magnificent hall, which is full of the simple and quiet feeling of a royal garden, as if you have traveled back to ancient times. Stepping into the lobby, the Tibetan style is overwhelming, with exquisite Thangkas, colorful prayer flags, and Tibetan-style decorations, which are full of ethnic customs. 🛏 [Guest Room Experience] I stayed in a Chinese-style standard room with a large bed. The room is 28 square meters and has a spacious space. The Chinese-style decoration and furniture are elegant and atmospheric, and also incorporate Tibetan elements, such as Tibetan carpets and Thangka ornaments, which are very distinctive. The bedding is comfortable, the mattress is just right, and the bedding fabric is soft, so I slept soundly at night. The room is fully equipped with 24-hour hot water, air conditioning, TV, free Wi-Fi, etc., but some facilities are a bit old, such as the small TV size, and the bathroom facilities are also a bit old. 🍱 [Dining Experience] The hotel restaurant specializes in Tibetan cuisine, as well as Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine. The Tibetan food is very authentic. The yak meat is firm and chewy, the butter tea is fragrant and mellow, and the highland barley cake is full of wheat flavor. If you are not used to Tibetan food, Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine can also satisfy your taste buds. Breakfast is in the form of a buffet, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes. 💁‍♀️ [Service Quality] The front desk handles check-in and check-out procedures quickly, and the staff is warm and polite, and patiently answers various questions. The room service responds quickly, and any needs can be dealt with in a timely manner. However, the service is a bit slow during peak dining hours in the restaurant, and the serving speed is slow.
