The Summer Palace

Tickets to the Summer Palace have peak and off-season pricing. During peak season (Apr 1–Oct 31), tickets are CNY 30 per person and combined tickets are CNY 60 per person. During the off-season (Nov 1–Mar 31), tickets are CNY 20 per person and combined tickets are CNY 50 per person. Combined tickets include admission to the Summer Palace and its gardens, including the Dehe Garden, the Tower of Buddhist Incense, Suzhou Street, and the Summer Palace Museum. If you visit these gardens separately, tickets are CNY 5 for Dehe Garden, CNY 20 for the Summer Palace Museum, CNY 10 for the Tower of Buddhist Incense, and CNY 10 for Suzhou Street. As a large natural landscape garden, the Summer Palace has many must-see attractions. Once inside, you can see the 728m Long Corridor with its colorful paintings on both sides. Climb the 41m Tower of Buddhist Incense for a panoramic view of the entire park. Stroll along the Seventeen-Arch Bridge and admire its unique architectural aesthetics. Take a boat ride on Kunming Lake and enjoy the rippling water. Step into Suzhou Street and experience the ancient charm of the marketplace. Appreciate the small and exquisite beauty of the gardens in the Garden of Harmonious Interest. There are also buildings such as Renshou Hall and Yulantang that bear the traces of history and tell stories of the past.
