#chinatransit With a short transit in Beijing, I set out on a journey through imperial history and scenic beauty, exploring three of the city’s most picturesque landmarks. I began at the Corner Tower of the Forbidden City, where its elegant red walls and golden rooftops reflected perfectly in the surrounding moat. The peaceful morning atmosphere, with willows swaying over the water, made for a stunning introduction to Beijing’s imperial grandeur. Next, I strolled to Beihai Park, once a royal retreat. Walking along the lakeside, I admired the White Dagoba, standing tall atop Qionghua Island. Boats drifted across the shimmering water, and the scent of blooming lotus flowers filled the air, making the park a perfect blend of history and tranquility. My final stop was Jingshan Park, where a climb to the top of Jingshan Hill rewarded me with the best panoramic view of Beijing. From here, I gazed over the sprawling Forbidden City, its golden rooftops stretching endlessly under the sky. From ancient walls to imperial gardens and breathtaking cityscapes, this Beijing transit was a perfect snapshot of the city’s timeless beauty.
