Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing | Luxury Hotel in a Hutong

Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing is located in the Caocang Hutong in the eastern Qianmen area. It is an open hutong hotel with a courtyard layout that is full of Beijing flavor, offering a luxurious courtyard living experience. The interior design of the hotel was designed by CCD, and the hotel collaborated with traditional craftsmen from old Beijing to restore the original color of the wooden structure of the building. Some clever designs were also made to hide air conditioning and other facilities around the ceiling, revealing the original beautiful beam structure. All the facilities of the hotel are scattered in the Caocang Hutong from No. 3 to No. 10, and the guest rooms and public areas are transformed from traditional courtyards. All kinds of activities in the hotel require shuttling between the hutongs, which is full of Beijing flavor. The authentic and open hutong life is integrated with the old Beijing "visiting" culture, and this experience can only be provided by Mandarin Oriental Qianmen. The hotel has only 42 suites, distributed in newly renovated courtyards, all of which are independent courtyards. Guests can enjoy the changes of the four seasons in the courtyard and feel the Beijing-style aesthetics of the four distinct seasons.
