In the silence, we carefully feel the epitome of the city's changes. 2️⃣In the afternoon, we enjoyed an exquisite afternoon tea in the lobby. Elements of the steel plant are incorporated into the design of the tableware, and the presentation of desserts and tea snacks is also full of ingenuity - the matcha cake is like a steel beam, and the shape of the chocolate tower echoes the design of the railway track. While tasting the food, you are also appreciating history. 3️⃣Before dinner, we watched the live roast duck making process in the restaurant. The chef skillfully hangs the duck embryo in an open oven and slowly roasts it over fruit wood charcoal. The golden duck skin shines brightly under the flames, emitting an enticing aroma. When slicing the duck, the knife skills are precise. The duck skin, as thin as a cicada's wing, is rolled with shredded green onions and sweet bean sauce. It is crispy and tender when eaten, which is amazing. Afterwards, we headed to the hotel buffet area, where the dishes are not only rich in variety, but also incorporate many of Beijing and northern China's special flavors, from snacks to seafood, and every dish is unforgettable. 4️⃣Walking through the park at night, the Shougang blast furnace and cooling tower under the lights are particularly stunning, where history and modernity are seamlessly connected.
