Intro - Qianmen is a famous pedestrian street in Beijing, associated with a long history as well as full of Chinese cultural characteristics. Located in the central axis of Beijing, Qianmen Street is a famous pedestrian street running from Jianlou (Archery Tower) of Zhengyangmen in the north to Tiantan Park in the south. This pedestrian street is 840 meters long and about 21 meters wide. It includes buildings with the architectural style of the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911). Food & Restaurants - Quanjude Duck Restaurant, With roast duck as the culinary face of Qianmen, Quanjude has formed the regional cuisine with duck feast and more than 400 special dishes and is popular all over the world, of course including foreign tourists traveling to Beijing. Yitiaolong Restaurant (originally named Yitiaolong Mutton Restaurant) is an authentic Muslim restaurant. It was first opened to the public in 1785. Typical dishes are Fried Golden Shrimp, Fried Beef Marinated in Brown Sauce, Fried Chicken, and so on. Douyichu, with a history of 250 years, has been developed from a tavern. Shopping - Nowadays, with the development and international integration, many international brands have appeared in Qianmen, such as H&M, Haagen-Dazs, Sephora, Zara, Qggle, COSTS CAFÉ, and SK Jewelry.
