Queensbay Mall

Queensbay Mall is the largest shopping centre in Penang. Minutes away from the Penang Bridge, it is a waterfront complex in Bayan Lepas near the airport. The mall is home to mid-level restaurants, branded clothing stores, electronics shops and even a large Golden Screen Cinemas complex. Some locals will tell you that acquiring bargains in Penang involves wandering the narrow streets and alleyways off Jalan Penang, Jalan Burmah and Lebuh Campbell. However, true Penangites will also tell you that the air-conditioned interior of Queensbay Mall makes for a far better shopping afternoon on the island. Besides the fact that you will be shopping in comfort, the mall has almost the same selections of merchandise as anywhere else on the island.
