Wat Pathumwanaram, a temple in the heart of the city

Wat Pathum Wanaram Ratchaworawihan is located in the heart of the most modern shopping center in Bangkok. King Mongkut ordered its construction in 1857, intending it to be a resting area outside the capital. This temple also houses three sacred Buddha images from Laos: “Phra Soem”, “Phra Saen” and “Phra Sai”. Wat Pathum Wanaram Ratchaworawihan is located on Phra Ram 1 Road, Pathum Wan Subdistrict, Pathum Wan District, Bangkok. It is between Siam Paragon Shopping Mall and Central World Plaza. There are bus lines 2 15, 16, 25, 40, 45, 48, 54, 73, 79, 204, 79, etc. Or take the BTS and get off at Siam Station and walk towards Chaloem Phao Intersection. The temple is on the left.
