Bangkok, or Krung Thep to Thais, shines as Thailand’s vibrant capital—golden temples like Wat Arun gleam beside skyscrapers under a tropical sky. Named the world’s most-visited city in 2024, it’s dubbed the ‘City of Angels’ in Thai, a nod to its spiritual roots.
Its epic 169-character full name, a Guinness record, ties to Ayutthaya’s past, while today it lures with vibrant floating markets, the majestic Grand Palace, and panoramic views from Mahanakhon Skywalk. Jump into its lively chaos, savor street eats, and let Bangkok steal your heart.

Bangkok | Colors collide to create a dreamy Vietnamese style! Bangkok's Most Beautiful Vietnamese Restaurant: ĂN CÓM ĂN CÁ, So Beautiful That You Can Take Photos Without Eating
If you think you can only eat Thai food when you come to Bangkok, you are missing out! This time I want to recommend the most beautiful Vietnamese restaurant I have ever seen in Bangkok - ĂN CÓM ĂN CÁ. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you have fallen into a movie scene. This restaurant is not just a place to eat, but more like a visual and taste bud journey of Vietnamese culture. It is very suitable for dating with besties or couples, or even if you come alone, you can enjoy the happiness of being quietly surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Bangkok | Internet beauty cafe, a paradise for coffee lovers, large space and beautiful outdoor space NANA Coffee Roasters Ari|Champion beans + green seats
Every time I come to Bangkok, I will definitely arrange a day for a coffee shop tour, and NANA Coffee Roasters Ari, hidden in the alley of Ari, is definitely one of the top three coffee shops in my mind!
The whole store is surrounded by greenery, and walking in feels like entering a forest cafe in the city. The outdoor seating area is full of plants, and it is very relaxing when the sun shines down. It is perfect for relaxing while drinking coffee.
I arrived at about 10:30 in the morning this time, and the whole store was almost full, with a constant stream of people, most of whom were locals coming to dine in and take out, which shows that it is very popular locally. Although the seats are limited, the turnover rate is quite fast. There are also multiple parking spaces outside the store, which is very friendly to tourists who drive to visit.
In addition to coffee, the store also offers desserts and savory main courses, which are also of quite high quality. The desserts are exquisitely shaped and not too sweet, and are really enjoyable to pair with coffee. If you are a coffee lover and like taking photos and checking in, this is definitely a stop you cannot miss in Bangkok!

Walking into Painted Alley is like entering a visual feast. The walls on both sides of the alley are covered with colorful graffiti and large murals, which combine traditional Chinese elements, local Thai culture, and modern art styles. It makes people unable to help but take pictures while walking.
The graffiti here is not just decoration, but more like a street story. Every wall tells a story of Talat Noi’s history and transformation.
Moreover, this place is extremely popular with foreign tourists. Regardless of whether it is a weekday or a holiday, you can always see many tourists taking photos with their mobile phones or cameras. It is a paradise for literary youths and photography enthusiasts. You can discover new surprises every few steps, it's well worth exploring again and again!
In addition, there are many retro cafes and hipster shops hidden around Talat Noi. The buildings retain colonial style and Chinese wooden elements. Taking a walk among them, time seems to slow down.

This newly opened milk tea shop in Bangkok is my No.1 Thai milk tea shop!
Khiri Thai Tea is very close to Bangkok's Chinatown. If you plan to go shopping and eat delicious food in Chinatown, I highly recommend stopping by for a drink!
Many people say that this is the "ceiling of Thai milk". Not only are the drinks special, but the environment of the store is also very attractive. The whole store is full of Thai style, colorful and design-conscious. You will be healed as soon as you walk in. Watching the clerk making drinks on the spot is also super healing.
The drink has a strong milky flavor but is not overly sweet, and is priced in the mid-to-high range, but it’s really worth a try. If you come to Bangkok for a trip and want to try some different Thai milk, this shop must be put on your wishlist!

This area,
This area, which has become popular in recent years, not only carries the historical style of old Bangkok, but also gathers countless treasure shops and young creative energy, making people unable to stop once they step in!
Songwa Road is not long, but there are surprises at every corner: independent bookstores, hipster selection shops, vintage furniture, design brands and specialty cafes. The old houses, warehouses, iron window grilles and arcade buildings of the early Chinese settlements are preserved here, but they are infused with the soul of the new generation. Many shops are run by young Thais, with unique styles and a friendly atmosphere.
We originally planned to just take a short stroll, but we ended up being trapped here for the entire afternoon once we walked in, visiting one store after another. Even in the evening we still felt that we didn't have enough time, and many alleys hadn't been explored in depth. It was like we were playing an urban version of a treasure hunt game.
Not only do young Thai people like to come here to party, go shopping and take photos on weekends, but it is also attracting more and more international tourists. If you like a non-typical city trip and don’t want to just visit the popular attractions, then you should definitely add Songwa Old Town to your list of must-visit places in Bangkok!

This is not Europe! It is the secret place of Phayathai Palace in Bangkok. It is a quiet and dreamy palace building, and a royal relic that even Thais rarely know about.
Amid the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, there is a place so quiet that it seems as if time has stopped - Phya Thai Palace. This palace, built by King Rama VI of Thailand, still retains traces of modern Thai royal life. Its low-key location and non-mainstream tourist spot make it a true royal secret place.
We were walking on holiday but encountered few other tourists, just one group of locals taking pictures. The entire park is very peaceful, without the hustle and bustle of tourist groups, making it a great place to slow down and quietly appreciate the historical buildings.
However, the weather was really hot, even those of us who don’t sweat much usually were sweating profusely. We suggest that you arrange your itinerary so that after the tour, you can go to a cafe in the park to sit down, have a light meal or have a drink to cool off. This will be both comfortable and allow you to continue to appreciate the palace.

Bangkok | Giant mythological sculptures, amazing works of art, turn your stopover into a photo-taking trip
Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok, Thailand, is definitely not comparable to ordinary airports. It’s great that foreign tourists can go through customs quickly without queuing!
In addition to its high efficiency and modern design, it also hides an amazing work of art - the giant mythological sculpture "The Churning of the Ocean of Milk"! Many people stopped to take pictures
This is not some unpopular corner, but a landmark art installation that can be seen in the center of the hall.
Recommended reasons:
① World-class mythological art is right next to your boarding gate: This statue depicts classic scenes from Hindu mythology. It is magnificent and every time you pass by it is like watching a myth reenacted.
② No need to queue or buy tickets. Just pick up your phone and take a picture like you are in a movie scene. If you don’t tell me, you would think you have gone to a museum!

Bangkok | Massage lover collection! Highly recommend Siam Serene Mahaesak for great relaxation
#AprilGoodDestinations2025
This Siam Serene Mahaesak Massage has many branches in Bangkok, and one of them is right opposite the hotel we stayed in, which is really convenient! It happened to be raining heavily that day, the store not only patiently received us, but also provided towels for us to wipe our feet, which made us feel very considerate.
Such small details really make us feel warm after a busy day.
Whether it is heavy rain or other inconvenient situations, the service of this store makes people feel safe!
If you are like me and always walk around while traveling, have stiff shoulders and sore legs, then this massage shop Siam Serene Mahaesak hidden in the alley is definitely worth a try! Although the environment is not gorgeous, the technology here is really good!
The strength of the whole treatment was just right, and it was not a purely relaxing massage. The receptionist is very friendly. This is the kind of massage parlor you would want to come back to when you feel unwell.

This all-
This all-you-can-eat seafood restaurant is a great place that my husband has been looking forward to for a long time. I heard that many people have recommended it. Even when we took a taxi, the driver highly recommended it and said it was amazing! This instantly made our expectations soar
As expected, I was conquered by the delicious seafood as soon as I entered! We were so hungry for all kinds of fresh shrimps. To be honest, I don’t usually eat shrimps, but the shrimps here are really delicious! Paired with their special sauce, I can't stop eating. Each shrimp is tender and juicy, giving you a satisfying feeling.
Although this restaurant is a bit remote, to be honest, the price is very high CP relative to the quality and ingredients.
Definitely worth the money! The only small regret is that there is not much crab meat, but if I come again next time, I think it would be more satisfying to eat all the shrimps.
The restaurant provides air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned areas. The climate in Bangkok is more comfortable at night and not as hot as during the day. For friends who don’t mind not having air conditioning, the non-air-conditioned area is also a very good choice. The environment is also spacious and comfortable.
This seafood feast is really satisfying and I recommend it to everyone. It is definitely worth a try!

Bangkok | The best udon in Thailand is here! Tsuru Udon Ari is a famous Japanese restaurant highly recommended by Bangkok locals!
Eating Japanese food in Bangkok doesn’t just mean sushi! Tsuru Udon, located in the fashionable and hipster district of Ari, is a famous udon restaurant that many locals and Japanese people visit specifically to eat. There is no ostentatious decoration, but the restaurant is almost always fully booked during meal times, so you can’t get a meal without queuing up!
We went there at exactly 11 o'clock so luckily there was no need to queue!
Recommended reasons:
① Freshly made hand-beaten udon noodles, chewy and chewy: The noodles are freshly made every day, with a smooth and chewy texture. Both hot soup noodles and cold noodles are highly recommended, especially in the summer, a bowl of cold udon noodles is super refreshing.
② The fried shrimp, fried chicken, and fried lotus root are all crispy and not greasy, and you will want to eat them one by one.
③ The soup is warm and sweet: The soup base made from kelp and bonito is refreshing and you won’t feel burdened even if you drink a whole bowl.

When I woke up in the morning, I was surrounded by a table full of world delicacies. It was a luxurious enjoyment from the visual to the taste buds. I really want to say - I will come back and stay here again just for this breakfast!

Bangkok | Love BACC! Bangkok's free art sanctuary, a cool and photogenic urban cultural oasis
I personally particularly like this kind of architectural design with curved lines, which is visually very soft and flowing. Walking on the corridors on each floor feels like being led by art, making people unable to help but keep exploring.
The overall space itself is like a giant work of art, it looks beautiful no matter how you photograph it!

Located in the city center, BACC Bangkok Art and Culture Center is an art and cultural landmark that cannot be missed. Not only is it free to visit, but it is also a place where you will linger from the architecture to the exhibits!

Bangkok | Tropical fruits are on sale in large quantities! There’s a fruit market hidden outside Bangkok’s trendiest department store, where the aroma of durians fills the air!
I didn’t expect to be surrounded by tropical fruits while shopping in a department store! I went shopping in Siam Paragon during the holiday, and happened to come across a bustling tropical fruit market at the door. It was really a surprise easter egg during the trip!
The whole row of stalls is filled with various seasonal Thai fruits, such as golden pillow durian, mangosteen, rambutan, banana, mango, etc.! There is also a durian-cutting area. The rich fragrance once opened is really irresistible, attracting a large number of tourists to line up to buy them. Some fruits can be cut and eaten immediately, which is perfect for eating on the go!
Recommended reasons:
① The holiday-only outdoor market allows you to shop for fruits all at once, which is a great way to enjoy your life!
② You don’t have to go to an orchard or market specifically, you can eat fresh tropical fruits in the city center!
③ Durian is cut on site, prices are transparent, and you can taste it, an experience that tourists love!

Bangkok | Gallery Drip Coffee is the favorite of Bangkok's young people. A cup of hand-brewed coffee awakens travel inspiration. It is hidden in Bangkok's BACC Contemporary Art Center
Gallery Drip Coffee is a favorite among Bangkok's hipsters. A cup of hand-brewed coffee will inspire you to travel.
Gallery Drip Coffee, hidden on the first floor of BACC Contemporary Art Center in Bangkok, is a cafe that makes people reluctant to leave once they step in. As the name suggests, the shop specializes in hand-brewed coffee. It was founded by two artists who love photography and coffee. Not only is the coffee rich and pure, the entire space is also full of artistic atmosphere and humanistic style.
There are always many people queuing in front of the coffee bar. Each barista concentrates on pouring the coffee slowly by hand, as if injecting soul into every cup of coffee.
The seating area is dominated by wood, which is quiet and comfortable. It is a perfect corner for reading, writing, and daydreaming. The overall atmosphere is very tasteful.

Bangkok | Eat to your heart's content! Hereduan Street Food serves spicy basil pork and pork omelet rice that are irresistibly delicious, plus free drinks!
One of the joys of traveling is stumbling upon a random restaurant and realizing you've hit the jackpot! This time, while visiting Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, I accidentally walked into Hereduan Street Food and ordered the spicy basil pork and pork omelet rice. Both dishes were so delicious that I exclaimed, "I must come back for a second round!"
The spicy basil pork is packed with heat and aroma, making you sweat with every bite. It's that kind of spicy that's so satisfying you can't stop eating. The pork is incredibly tender, and the sauce pairs perfectly with rice! The pork omelet rice, on the other hand, comes in a surprisingly large portion—enough to fill up a girl completely! The thick, fluffy omelet combined with tender pork creates a delightful texture.
The biggest surprise? You get a free drink just by checking in! With this price, portion size, and quality, I can only say the students here are truly lucky!
Reasons to recommend:
① The spicy basil pork is aromatic and spicy, a must-try for spice lovers, and pairs perfectly with rice.
② The pork omelet rice comes in a huge portion—one serving is enough to keep you full until dinner.
③ Free drinks for checking in—this restaurant is a gem worth revisiting.

Bangkok | Walking into the lobby of Bangkok Marriott Hotel is like entering an art gallery. Design lovers must take photos of the beautiful scene when staying here
This time I stayed at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel. As soon as I entered the door, I was amazed by the high ceilings and abundant natural light. The whole space was bright and comfortable, and my mood instantly improved by 300%. What surprised me most was the artistic chandelier in the center, which exuded a low-key and luxurious atmosphere in the interweaving of light and shadow.
The color matching of the sofa area is also very thoughtful, and with the addition of plants and paintings, every corner is as exquisite as a magazine. The overall look has a fusion of modern oriental aesthetics, with overwhelming visual tension, and it looks good no matter how you shoot it!
Recommended reasons:
① High ceiling + natural light, the space is spacious and high-end
② The beauty of the lobby combines details and artistic atmosphere
③ The counter design combines Eastern and Western aesthetics, and you will want to collect it just by looking at it
