The founder of the temple was Mr. Semian Kham, who held the position of clerk of the royal treasury. Later, it was passed down to his daughter, Ms. Thao Phanthasanurak (Pluemrattanathatsanee). 🙏In 1979, during the reign of King Rama V, the temple was given the name Wat Semian Nari to honor both of them who built and maintained the temple throughout their lives. 💥Later in 2012, King Rama IX elevated the temple to the status of a third-class royal temple, common type. Important and interesting things in the temple include: 🏰 The old chapel enshrines Luang Pho Phutthasukhoabhirojana, a Sukhothai-style Buddha image, and Luang Pho Phutthasothon, Luang Pho Sangkachai. 🏰New Thai-style chapel, made entirely of marble, with murals.
