Champa Temple

Wat Jampa, Bangkok 🙏It is an ancient temple in the late Ayutthaya period. There is an ancient chapel that is about 200 years old. It is a Dutch-style chapel with a unique beauty. With beautifully decorated sculptures 🪷 The chapel, the viharn and the covered walkway are decorated with cups, bowls and ceramic dolls. The gable of the chapel has Western-style tiles, large flower-patterned washbasins and decorated with painted stucco of cups, bowls and ceramic tiles. Inside the chapel, there is a base of a throne with a cast metal Ratchawat surrounding the base of the principal Buddha image, made of metal cast from England. The principal Buddha image is named Luang Pho Chokdee. 🙏There are two recessed brick pagodas and a small twelve-sided wooden pagoda in the middle of the water. Inside, there are relics of Luang Pu Toh. The Phra Athikarn Phuek pagoda is a round pagoda. The sala is made of wood.
