Wat Krathum Suea Pla

🙏🏻 Take a tour of the "80 Buddha Image Museum" and many other sacred objects at "Wat Krathum Suea Pla" in Prawet District, Bangkok. "Wat Krathum Suea Pla" is assumed to have been built around 2345. The name of the builder is unknown, but there is evidence that the restorer was "Khun Prawet Chanarak (Tao Kae Eiew)". The name of the temple comes from the area with many Krathum trees, plus the abundance of tiger fish living there. Important places include: 🔸 "80 Buddha Image Museum" enshrines various Buddha images of the Lord Buddha, with the names of each image and detailed explanations. 🔸 "Ubosot enshrining Luang Pho Phet", a Buddha image decorated with diamonds, modeled after the Sukhothai period Phra Buddha Chinnarat. 🔸 "Thep Prathan Phon Shrine" contains Chinese art related to Mahayana Buddhism, and sculptures of the Four Great Kings. Bodhisattva deities 🔸"Luang Pho Phutthasothon Temple" is located in the old chapel of the temple, built during the reign of King Nangklao.
