Wat Suthat Thepwararam Ratchaworamahawihan, Bangkok 🕍It is an art style of the early Rattanakosin period. Some parts have a scent of the art of the Ayutthaya period as well. It consists of the Vihara, the Ubosot, and the Khot Vihara. 🙏The Vihara was influenced by the Mongkhon Bophit Vihara in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. It is 23.84 meters wide and 26.35 meters long. The roof of the Vihara is in the ancient Thai style, 2 levels, reduced by 1, covered with colored glazed tiles, decorated with gables, raka leaves, and hongs. There are 3 doors on each side of the front and back of the Vihara, which are carved wooden doors. It is said to be a masterpiece from the hands of King Phutthaloetla Naphalai, King Rama II. 🪷The Ubosot of Wat Suthat Thepwararam is considered the longest Ubosot in Thailand. It was built in the reign of King Rama III with a width of 22.60 meters and a length of 72.25 meters. It is the place where Phra Phuttha Trilok Chet is enshrined.
