Wat Baknam Joro, where everything shines in gold

Wat Paknam Jorlo in Chachoengsao is a glittering temple with all its buildings made of gold. It was built 200 years ago, but was destroyed by flooding and rebuilt as a golden temple 70 years ago. Not only are the main hall and Buddha golden, but the interior of the temple is also golden, and even the electric fans are golden. It takes an hour and a half by direct bus from Bangkok's Eastern Bus Terminal to reach Changchusao Bus Terminal, and then about 20 minutes by tuk-tuk.
