Top Notch Cafe (Pison Coffee)

We’ve been reading up on popular cafes to visit in Bali and while some were lacklustre or only had 1-2 things going for them, this one was different. Pison Coffee is the number one cafe and I would definitely come back for brunch, or any meal in fact, whenever I’m back in Bali. The decor is amazing and gives off a really rustic industrial vibe. Which is a far cry to what it is actually like outside; which is a super busy street. The star of the show is definitely the food, drinks and service. Because I mean after soaking up the ambience, these are the star of the show. We had the fish and chips, and the cordon bleu. And both of them ‘bleu’ us away! The chips were soft and creamy on the inside with a crispy outer layer; perfect for sauce dipping. The fish had the herb fragrance and a perfectly chunky flaky inside. The cheese for the cordon bleu is what won me over. The chicken could’ve been a tad bit more flavourful but oh my god the cheese was something to die for. If you love those 4 cheese pizzas, you’d love this because that’s how full tasting it was. For drinks, the hot chocolate was nothing short of amazing. It was thick enough for you to actually feel like the flavour is overwhelming all your senses. And the ice cappuccino was milky and fragrant. Which is to my liking heheh. #tripblazers #foodie #cafe
