Six Senses Uluwatu: A Perfect Combination of Scenery and Service

I chose the enchanting Six Senses Uluwatu for my stay, located at Jalan Goa Lempeh, near Pecatu. The hotel boasts a prime location on a cliff, with convenient access to major transportation points. It's about an hour's drive from the airport, offering a tranquil environment, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Upon arrival, I was immediately captivated by the breathtaking cliffside sea view! The hotel's decor emphasizes a natural and primitive style, blended with modern design, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The reception area offers a wide view, instantly putting you at ease. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, giving me a tour of the hotel and its facilities, with impeccable service. The hotel is well-equipped, especially with its own farm, where you can enjoy organic tomatoes and ice cream, providing a fantastic experience! My room experience was a delightful surprise. I initially booked a standard room, but due to certain circumstances, the hotel kindly upgraded me to a villa for free. The villa not only offered unbeatable views but also featured modern amenities, including a private pool and Bluetooth speakers. The bed was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was huge, and the outdoor shower area added a lot of fun. During my stay, there were attentive butlers in the morning and evening, providing fresh fruit and thoughtful apology notes, earning high praise for their service! If you're like me and enjoy exploring the surroundings, there are plenty of recommended spots nearby. For instance, The Temple Bar & Grill is a great local restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food with a sea view. For dessert, Sugar Rock and Tarsabelle offer delightful donuts and coffee. Couples should definitely try the hotel's Sky Dining, where you can dine while watching the sunset, with a romance level off the charts. However, there were some drawbacks during my stay. The hotel's location is relatively remote, making it inconvenient to access the city center, with high taxi fares. Additionally, the restaurant's food options are limited, and while the breakfast is delicious, it lacks variety. The outdoor pool's privacy could be improved, but these minor issues didn't affect my overall experience. Overall, my stay at Six Senses Uluwatu was unforgettable. The stunning cliffside sea view, attentive service, and comfortable rooms made this trip full of surprises and wonderful memories.
