Athens Acropolis, the millennia-old relic of ancient Greece, the current site of the Sanctuary in Saint Seiya.

After watching the Japanese anime Saint Seiya as a child, I have always yearned to visit the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, as it is the real-life version of the Sanctuary. This ancient Greek temple has withstood the test of time for thousands of years. Although it is already autumn in Athens, the Mediterranean sun still shines brightly, as if the scorching summer has not yet left. Under the blue sky, the white Acropolis appears even more sacred and solemn, narrating the long history of ancient Greece. The temple buildings have a unique charm in the interplay of light and shadow. The Acropolis is composed of a flat-topped rock, and the architectural complex includes the Propylaea, the Agrippa Monument, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, the Parthenon, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, and the Theatre of Dionysus. However, walking through the site in person, one sees the ruins being restored after thousands of years, which is truly poignant. There is no eternal existence in the world; even the sturdy stone temples cannot escape the ravages of time and human activity.
