Wat Muang @ Ang Thong

Luang Pho Yai or “Phra Phuttha Maha Nawamin Sakyamuni Si Wichian Chai Chan” is the largest Buddha statue in the world. It is a Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture with a lap width of 63 meters and a height of 95 meters. To pray to Luang Pho Yai, use both hands to touch the tip of the middle finger of Luang Pho and intend to ask for something good. Do good as you intend to. Then you will receive the results as you wish. Wat Muang is located in Village 6, Hua Saphan Subdistrict, Wichian Chai District, Ang Thong Province. It is approximately 8 kilometers west of Ang Thong Province. If starting from Bangkok, take Asia Road and enter Ang Thong town. Pass the market and turn right. Pass the prison. At the intersection, turn left (to Suphan Buri) and follow the Pho Phraya Tha Ruea route. The temple will be on the left.
