A famous retirement town Sedona is famous for the way it was embraced nature and tried to curtail the growth of the city to fit in with its surroundings. The city itself has shopping, restaurants and lots of local craft stalls. It can be very busy in summer periods so it’s best to book everything in advance, especially any restaurants that offer views of the rocks. The sky is blue in Arizona, USA. To go to Sedona, you have to travel for about an hour or two by car, but even the fatigue of driving seems to disappear on its own. Tourists from all over the world feel the sunshine under this clear and sunny sky. Sedona seemed to have only nature like rocks, trees, and grass, but there were red buildings, and downtowns along the Oak Creek River. However, it is not a shiny city like New York City (NYC), but a natural city with cute buildings in a small space. This is where I passed by on my way to the Grand Canyon from Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Actually, I stopped by on my way to the Grand Canyon, thinking only of it, but it was a really nice place. There are so many amazing hikes to do in Sedona, but you won’t want to miss Soldier Pass Trail, Bell Rock, Devil’s Bridge, and Cathedral Rock. Be sure to bring plenty of water in a reusable water bottle, proper hiking shoes, and sunscreen, and NEVER leave behind any trash or damage the wildlife by going off-trail. For food, I recommend brunch or lunch at SaltRock Restaurant at the Amara Hotel, having a creekside meal at the L’Auberge patio, and trying everything possible on the menu at Pump House Station. To park at Sedona’s various hiking trails, you’ll need to purchase a Red Rock Pass. Be sure not to take the wrong path. The entire trail takes 3–4 hours. The first part is easy to walk, with some small trees, but it's still very sunny overall, so be sure to bring plenty of water💦 The final path into the cave is very steep and slippery, not very friendly to those who are afraid of heights😭 On the way back, you can follow the signs to check in at the vortex. When you climb to the top of the hill and see the twisted trees, you've arrived. People often meditate here🧘 You can go and see if you feel cleansed☁️ 🔸Chapel of the Holy Cross A very distinctive church⛪️ embedded in the red rock wall. We stopped off at The Shops at Pinon Pointe as a rest stop after a stroll around Sedona. The inside of the church was more compact than I expected. There is a tree along the wall of the chapel, and Jesus is hanging on the tree. From the front window, you can see the great outdoors of Sedona, and I felt its powerful power. (Maybe this is why it's called a power spot...?) I'd like to introduce a cute general store I came across while touring the vortex in Sedona, Son Silver West Galleries Inc. 🐎 The signboard gives off a western vibe 💭 I felt like I was in the American West! lol This is a market-like area packed with Arizona folk crafts, miscellaneous goods, and interior items. Outside the store, there were various objects lined up, although I don't know if they were products or interior items!! ! It was a bit cluttered overall, but that made it more interesting to look at, so I ended up staying there for about two hours 🛍️It took quite a while to look at each one carefully!
