Yong Chang Cafe and bar
Yong Chang Cafe and bar, a Chinese-style cafe in the middle of Phetchaburi
- Yong Chang Cafe and bar is located in the middle of Phetchaburi, on Ratchadamri Road, approximately 1.4 kilometers from Phetkasem Road. The shop is located on the main road, easy to see. The shop is a 2-unit shophouse that has been newly decorated in a red tone on the outside. You can park in front of the shop and on the side of the shop.
- A Chinese-style cafe and bar decorated like an inn. There is a bar counter inside. The front of the shop is glass, allowing plenty of light from outside to enter, making it look bright. After walking into the shop, the first thing you will encounter is the very fragrant smell of tea that permeates the entire shop. The shop has tables to sit on, both high chairs and regular chairs in a modern style. There are about 10-12 tables. The ceiling is decorated with red lanterns hanging down, looking beautiful and feeling like China. The shop's ceiling is quite high, making it airy and comfortable. In the middle of the shop, there is a red artificial maple tree for taking pictures. The walls of the shop are decorated with round glass and red light signs in Chinese.
- In terms of drinks, there are milk tea, cocoa, coffee, Yongchang tea, and various types of tea, both hot and cold. In addition, the menu also has various types of soda and cocktails with different flavors, such as Black Luscia, Pink Lady, Blue Hawaii. But in the cabinet, I saw beer, probably for the evening. The desserts on the menu include cookies, apple pie, white chocolate, cranberry, and toast, such as honey butter, caramel butter. As for snacks, there are crab dumplings, shrimp dumplings, French fries, chicken rolls, and what we ordered was a large steamed bun with custard. In front of the shop, there are fish balls for sale, owned by the same owner. We can order them to eat.
What we ordered were Yongshan coffee, matcha latte, white chocolate cranberry, and a large steamed bun with custard. The taste was not too sweet, the tea was very fragrant, and the custard was delicious and sweet. Overall, it's okay.
The shop opens from 10:30 to 23:00.
The menu price starts at 35 baht, but looking at the menu, the overall price is not expensive at all.
This shop gives 4/5 stars. Recommended for those who want to sit and relax quietly or work.
Note: I have never sat in the evening because my friend in Phetchaburi said that this shop is crowded in the evening, but when I went a little early in the morning, there was only one table, so it was comfortable to sit at.
