The distance up the mountain is about 2 kilometers, alternating between dirt roads and stairs. There are some parts where you have to pull up the rope (gloves are a must, very important). It was quite tiring, but maybe it was because of my faith that I was able to successfully climb up to ThamNaka. I recommend going in the morning because it won't be hot.
