Visiting Hokkaido, this time I stayed at the Kitayuzawa Mori no Soraniwa Onsen Hotel. The hotel is located in an excellent location in Date, with convenient transportation that allows you to easily explore popular attractions and dining options. Kitayuzawa Onsen is within walking distance. You can also drive to Showa Jozankei from here. The guest rooms are cozy and comfortable, with an area of about 30 square meters. Each room is thoughtfully equipped with a refrigerator and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom features a combined shower/bathtub and is carefully stocked with complimentary toiletries and a sitz bath. Of course, there's also a telephone, and basic amenities such as a safe and an electric kettle are provided. Dinner at Midori no Kaze in Kitayuzawa was child-friendly, and the children's section was full of fun. The large amount of octopus sausages was fun for adults too. There were many places where you could see the kitchen, there were many live performances, and they even went around to the tables to serve you sausages, so it was an exciting dinner. This onsen resort is just amazing, they have lots of outdoor onsen to let you choose from! Of you live outdoor onsen, this resort is the best! They provide to free pick up from Sapporo station and drop off shuttle bus, that’s really convenient! Horohoro Sanso is a long-established inn in Kitayuzawa. It looks smaller and older than other inns in Kitayuzawa, but the hot springs were amazing. It has a very modern Japanese interior and a spacious space, and there are many baths to enjoy. The contrast with the exterior is so great that it's a shame! lol It's definitely a place I want to go back to. There is the Pearl Mountain Cable Car, highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 We walked from Lake Toya Station to the cable car station, the scenery we saw along the way was very beautiful😍, but taking the cable car from the observation deck on the mountain, the scenery is another feeling😇 There are snow scenery, forest view, Toya Lake view, the white smoke spraying Showa Shinsan volcano view, very shocking! After taking the cable car, take a taxi to the train station in 5 minutes 😂 (but it took more than 1 hour to walk 😂😂😂) To return to Sapporo at night, Toyako Station has a high-speed bus (Toyako Hot Spring - Nakayama Pass - Sapporo) directly to Sapporo, the journey is 2.5 hours (2780yen). This is it! As expected! I had heard that Mori no Sora Niwa was good for families with children, but I didn't expect it to be this big, so adults could eat leisurely (lol) First of all, the table where you get the buffet is child-height, and the meals are child-sized. The steam locomotive delivered pudding on the way. There were lots of desserts like cakes, fruits, and soft serve ice cream! There were also lots of rice dishes like potatoes and salmon sushi that children like. Of course, there were things you could give to children in the adult area, but the children's area is 100 times more attractive for children (lol) And there was a play space inside the buffet venue!! My family got a seat right in front of it, so we could eat our meal in peace while watching our children play. The restrooms were also inside the buffet venue, and there was a diaper changing station, which was nice. Also, for those who still can't let their children play, there were picture books and other things that you could borrow! That's what they said! They had a great time at our house (lol) so much so that they said they didn't want to go home. When we left, there was a lady making balloon art! What is this? Inside Mori no Soraniwa Asoboya Part 2! Both kids and adults can have a blast (lol) Mazes in the ball pool! Slides that you can dive into the ball pool... The maze is child-sized (lol) It's hard for adults, but it's just the right height to walk through, so kids can walk through it easily. Adults get caught playing demons right away! Located in Mori no Soraniwa This is the first introduction to Asoboya! It was so much fun that we split into two groups (lol) Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are rules such as wearing masks, so we followed the rules, including inside the building, and had fun playing to the fullest. Everything is child-sized, with playhouses and blocks in the small house, and a fun swing that sways back and forth in the elevator hall, although it doesn't move. Cars that children can move by pedaling or turning the handle Yogibo and a picture book corner, and magnets that stick together. We were so excited to play here and there! The reason for the excitement continues in part 2...it can be used for day trips...I think I'll take them there again. If you are staying overnight, you can play for one night and two days with the entrance fee! As soon as you enter Mori no Soraniwa, there are a lot of different sofas!! This alone is fun😊 There are many sofas that are tall enough for even children to sit on by themselves, so they sat on various sofas with grins on their faces. Of course, if there are people, we make sure to secure a space, but we planned to arrive quite early and go to Asoboya, so there were no people there (lol) And in the lobby, there was welcome soft serve ice cream and candy, so we were treated to everything❤️ The kids are sure to have a blast. Midorinokaze Resort Kitayuzawa Review The hotel is located in the middle of a valley. The atmosphere is very nice, especially the outdoor onsen with a view of the snow. Buffet for both dinner and breakfast. There are many dishes. There are both Japanese and international menus. Desserts are worth the price. There is a car park (free of charge). Overall, I am very impressed. The atmosphere is good. The food is good. The onsen is the best! If I have a chance, I will definitely go back to stay again.

We went to Midori no Kaze with our family. It was our first time staying at this inn, so we were all really looking forward to it. First, let me introduce the rooms. I always stay in a Japanese-Western style room because it's convenient, so this time we booked one as well. There are two single beds, and we were able to enjoy a relaxing snack time in the Japanese-style room. The hotel has a Japanese theme overall, and the rooms are not cluttered and have a calm atmosphere, so we were able to relax and unwind. Usually when you go to Lake Toya, you will also visit Mount Usu. Mount Usu is an active volcano with an altitude of 733 meters located south of Lake Toya in Hokkaido, Japan. In the past 100 years, Mount Usu has been observed to erupt four times and is a very active volcano in Japan. The most recent eruption was in 2000. It only takes 20 to 30 minutes to drive from Toyako Hot Spring Area to the cable car station of Mount Usu. There is a parking lot nearby with a parking fee of 500 yen per day. After that, you can take the cable car up the mountain and reach Usu Volcano in about six minutes. The scenic spot has a trail that allows you to walk directly to the Usu crater. Interested travelers can also hike around the crater, which takes about 1.5 hours round trip. For me, this onsen resort is one of the best because the outdoor Onsen is made up of rocks, is big, spacious and beautiful. It makes you feel like you’re amidst the mountains and the water is crystal clear and seeing the snow falling to cover up the whole place! Dinner buffet had a huge variety and taste was amazing too! We loved the roast beef which was done perfectly! Breakfast serve at the same restaurant too, with plenty of food to choose from! This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you feel like you are staying between mountains. The resort is serene and beautiful. I really enjoyed the natural feeling yet luxurious experience you can find it here! #resortstyle

#ChillAtRooftop Another place we have pinned that we must check in. We have arrived at Mt. Uzu Ropeway. This cable car will take us to the observatory where we will turn left to the Uzu Crator Observatory and turn right to see the high angle of Lake Toya and Showa Shinzan. We went to all of them. We walked a lot. It was so cool. The atmosphere was nice but very cold and windy. Along the way up, the view from the cable car was really good. The view was beautiful and not cold.
