We wanted to have some family fun and so we decided to explore Panbil Nature Reserve Park. It was really easy to get there either by Grab or Gojek. There are lots of family and children friendly activities available at the park including ATV, trekking with the deers, and some of the more kid friendly stuff like feeding the farm animals (see images). We ended up at a quaint and really nice industrialist styled building with a cafe in it! It was Labers Coffee Pergudangan and the space was really nice! We ordered a loaded waffle to share. The waffle had fruits, a lotus biscoff biscuit and 2 scoops of delicious ice cream. It was delicious and the waffles was crispy on the outside. Amazing place and super friendly staff. She recommended us a few dishes that we tried and loved it. We could not stop ordering and she told us that the food that we ordered would be enough already, if we finished and wanted more then we can order again. Loved the fish and the crayfish. Upon reaching, this cafe attracted our attention which was right at the entrance. After walking around the mall, we decided to visit Toby’s Estate - Coffee Roasters. As we are still full, we decided to order drinks and cakes! We ordered three cakes and shared amongst six persons yet we couldn’t finish it because of the big servings and the taste is so rich. They had the best chocolate cake and if you visit here, it’s a must order! #newyearadventure

This spa is clean and hygienic, and has a very contemporary vibe mixed with some traditional design elements. Also easy to get to as located nearby the ferry terminal from Singapore. Massage prices were reasonable and the staff there were very nice. The only thing is be prepared for only curtains to divide the spaces between your massage bed and the next. This is one of Batam main Chinese/Buddhist Temple. This is a very peaceful place. There is a huge complex with three main halls for Buddha, Guang Kong and Guan Yin. There is a vegetarian restaurant as well too. Nice place for a break and a taste for vegan food. My mum is a vegetarian so no worried for her. And a shop that sells all the Buddha items, including beautiful clocks and souvenirs to buy and take home. Interesting place for our first travelling to Batam. We let out our inner model. Lol. And took lots of photos. I really love how the illusions really come alive. Like, I felt really dizzy on some of the slanted platform illusions. This is a great place to visit. You may pose in any way, and in what ever style you wish as if we are the part of the picture . Penuin, opposite Penuin Market, is a walking distance from Aston Gideon, I Hotel Baloi, and is around 5.5 kilometers 15 minutes drive from Harbourbay Ferry Terminal Batam. Most of the stalls open as early as 6am and close around afternoon. It is a local kopitham (eating house) with no aircon, sitting in the centre of the kopitham surrounded by delicious food stalls, like noodles tanjung batu, noodles tanjung pinang, chicken rice, fish soup, bak kut teh, and fried noodles. I had ordered noodles from both stalls, and fried kway teow. Most of the foods tastes delicious, with reasonable price. Next year i wish to travel to Iceland.

It consists of chinese wheat noodles served in a meat or (occasionally) fish-based broth, often flavoured with soy sauce or miso, and uses toppings such as dried seaweed, menna, and scallions. Located at the top floor of Grand Batam Shopping Centre, and nearby a number of hotels along Jalan Pembangunan, and is open daily from 1000-2200. It is a Halal Certified Restaurant, i had ordered a Tori-Katsu-Men (chicken cutlet mee), a Chicken Karaage and an iced ocha. Both the cutlet and karaage are crispy at the outer layer and juicy on the meat. The noodles are chewy with a tastey onsen egg, an iced ocha is also refillable. Next year i wish to travel to Iceland.

#2023travelwish Grand Batam Shopping Centre is located along Jalan Penbangunan, a walking distance to some of the hotels nearby, like I Hotel Baloi, Artotel, Swiss-Belinn. It is open daily from 1000-2200. This five storey shopping mall was opened in 2019, and was claimed to be the most luxurious and modern mall in Batam. The mall hosts hundreds of premium brands with reasonable prices, providing endless excitement. The famous CGV Cinema with satin sweet, making your movie experience more enjoyable. Facilities in the mall are also top-notch, with wheel-chair, baby stroller rental and prayer rooms are all available. Next year i wish to travel to Iceland.
