I've been to Sanya 9 times, and each time was a new experience. I know Sanya like the back of my hand. This post is full of useful tips, no ads. If you're planning a trip to Sanya, make sure to save this post! 🚇 Transportation Don't rush to get a taxi when you arrive in Sanya. There are airport buses at Exit 5 that go directly to the city center. If you have a lot of luggage, go to the parking lot on the 3rd floor opposite Exit 7 to get a ride-hailing car. The drivers are quick to accept orders, so you don't have to worry about not getting a car. 📆 Travel planning If it's your first time in Sanya, don't try to visit all the attractions in one day! The attractions in Sanya are scattered, so it's best to visit one area at a time. Sanya Bay, Dadonghai, Yalong Bay, and Haitang Bay each have their own unique charm. Take your time to enjoy the relaxing island atmosphere. If you want to take a beautiful aerial photo of the Nanhai Guanyin statue from the plane, choose a window seat on the left side in the last five rows when checking in. 🏨 Accommodation Choose a hotel in Sanya Bay or Dadonghai. These areas are convenient for transportation, have many attractions nearby, and are lively at night. There are hotels in all price ranges, so you can find one that fits your budget. 🌤 Weather The weather in Sanya is changeable, with temperatures usually between 25 and 32 degrees. Sometimes it's sunny with strong UV rays, and sometimes it rains briefly. Make sure to protect yourself from the sun by wearing a hat and sunscreen, and bring an umbrella just in case. 🎈 Attractions • Yanoda Rainforest: A must-visit! This natural oxygen bar has thrilling zip lines, educational programs, and hiking trails. It's a great place for the whole family to have fun. • Beaches: In terms of beach quality, Haitang Bay > Yalong Bay > Sanya Bay = Dadonghai. However, the waves at Haitang Bay are too strong for swimming. If you're looking for a beach with fine sand, go to Clearwater Bay in Lingshui. • Islands: Wuzhizhou Island, West Island, and Boundary Island each have their own charm. Wuzhizhou Island is more expensive, but has a wide range of water activities and facilities. West Island is a fishing village with a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing vacation. Boundary Island offers close encounters with marine animals and the chance to feed stingrays, making it a great choice for families. • Coconut Dream Corridor: This 20 km long stretch has several great photo spots. Navigate to "Haiyun Resort Hotel" for a large lawn and coconut grove with a sea view. You can also relax under a beach umbrella. Go to "Beautiful New Coast" at 6 pm for a stunning sunset over the coastal road. "Sanya Bay Rest Area" has beach chairs and lifeguards, and is less crowded. • Glass Sea: Sun Bay, Xiaodonghai, West Island, Wuzhizhou Island, Tianya Town, and Sanya Corner are all great places to see the glass sea. Make sure to go on a sunny day for the best views. 🍢 Night markets There are many night markets in Sanya, so just choose one nearby. If it's your first time, I recommend Yiheng Night Market, First Market Night Market, Ganghua Night Market, and Linwang Night Market. Sometimes you'll wade through water, sometimes climb rocks, and eventually ascend a waterfall - it's full of wild fun❗️ • 🌟Travel Tips Before entering Dream Valley, pick up a helmet and straw sandals. It's recommended to 🔺bring your own waterproof phone case. Store all other luggage🎒 because you'll need to use your hands and feet➕get completely wet. The Sichuan cuisine we ordered at noon was so delicious that my tummy felt full! I can't stop at all! There are also various Hainan-style rice wines, such as Shanlan wine! It’s really suitable for girls! Sweet and delicious! Experience The most amazing thing about the hotel is that it is surrounded by mountains and waters, with lush forests on both sides. Looking from top to bottom, it feels like being in a fairyland on earth, with light mist and vast clouds. The scenery is simple and elegant. You can enjoy a private large tropical garden with two forests, go boating on the lake, watch the sunset from the top floor of the hotel, swim freely in the infinity pool, and when night falls, the entire starry sky seems to be moved into the swimming pool. Being here, the experience is really no less than that of Bali! The lights under the thatched house are warm and bright. If you like real outdoor hiking experience you should try it in the Binlang Valley Scenic area. It is a good extension to the famous Zhangjiajie Scenic area. Take your way to the starting point of the hiking, e.g rent a driver for the day. Do you enjoy using a glass platform to walk on? If you're nervous or worried, don't be; the I LOVE YOU glass platform within the Yanoda is a nice site to visit. When you glance down, it's a little frightening, but it's difficult to avoid becoming overly alarmed by the height. The natural environment will astound you, and if you have the confidence, you may even try the swing activities. So luckily our hotel provides a car which cost 280rmb roundtrip. ⭐️ Entrance ticket with a package this month of June: 238 rmb (you can check the picture I’ve uploaded) it includes a lot of different activities such a zip line, obstacles , glass bridge, waterfall climbing, lunch (local cuisine) etc. ⭐️ Things to remember⭐️ ⭐️to take extra clothes if you would do the rainforest obstacle course ⭐️mosquito repellent lotion or spray ⭐️ sunblock Enjoy! #naturalwonders #staycation

This is a pretty big park⛰ I think Covid has hit the region hard as you can tell it used to have a lot more people come visit & some attractions are no more. Saying that – you enter and queue to take a 🚌bus straight up the mountain (5-10mins). You arrive and there are some food stalls if you’re hungry & the staff sing to welcome. Some touristy shops here too. There is a “wetland” area which had some alpacas & rocks to walk across the water with many picture taking ops, if that’s your thing. What’s kinda nice about this park is that there is raised plank walkways and stairs throughout - but there are also options to walk a more ‘natural’ path where you are walking and climbing up big stone pathways which is nice! There are some small rope bridges, some “lucid caves?!?” & small really nice untouched forest. I think those are the biggest and oldest date palm trees I’ve ever seen and they were magical. There is a 1000-year-old Banyan tree you can walk through and the jungle is left to enjoy almost naturally. Unfortunately you can hear the echoes of the restaurant and shop owners at times throughout the park but there are a few nice spots of just the birds and bugs! Of course – no National park is without its dinosaurs and you can find them dotted throughout this one, my favourite is in the orchid stream. The maps are confusing to everyone – so just go with an open mind – it’s not a huge park and easy enough to get around. Unfortunately – they have small petting zoo and it was heartbreaking as the animals are pretty sad and their pens aren’t really spacious enough and is almost all concrete. I chose t rush through this as I found the state of the animals upsetting. I didn’t do the glass walkway or the zipline, not because they are extra,but I didn’t give myself time. All in all – I would recommend coming for a couple of hours to see some nice forest, rocks and some fresh air. Chinese Hawaii, yay or nay? 🌴 🌴 Hainan Island is known as Chinese Hawaii for its tropical climate and warm sea. And it is one of the top destinations for sea lovers all around in China. ❤️Attractions: Yanoda Rainforest Park and Pirates' Island are totally worth visiting. Monkey Island won't recommend due to aggressive animals. 🌊There r 2 bays, that r most popular among the tourists: Dadong Hai & Yalong Bay. Dadong Hai is VERY popular among Russian tourists due to pricing and location, so everything there is Russian oriented: food, music, service, hotels, everything. The coast line is nice, there is a variety of small cafes, offering Chinese snacks and questionable Russian food. 🏖️ The beach is quite crowded, there are many people streaming right from the beach, so if you love the camera, go for it and you might get famous 🤩 🌊 The sea is clean and the sand is nice and soft. No big waves. 🛍️ Shopping is convenient here, there is a huge mall called Pineapple for its shape, where you can shop and dine worry-free. 🎠 Leasure: there are billions of small SPA-places offering massages and body treatment for a reasonable price. 🍽️ Food: remember that the majority local restaurants stop serving food after the dining hours. Yalong Bay is more expensive, offering tourists 5* hotels with clean nice beaches and good infrastructure, hence the service is still have a room for improvement. 🏖️ Beaches here r mostly owened by hotels, they r clean & neat. The sea is nice & calm. No big waves. 🛍️ If you want to buy something, prepare to travel by taxi, all the malls and shopping arears r quite far.
