The place is just stunning, beautiful architecture, design , there is a pool, quiet around, comfortable, the staff is very polite. I stayed very happy and ready to recommend this place. A bit far from the sights, but if you have a bike, it 's not a problem
Our stay at the Banyan Tree was an exceptional experience, lasting for a total of 7 nights. It stands out as the finest luxury resort I have ever visited, surpassing other high-end hotels and resorts I have experienced in the past. The location, although an hour away from the town, offers a secluded and tranquil setting amidst lush greenery, with stunning views of the mountains and beach. The attentive and accommodating staff ensured top-notch service throughout our stay, even providing small locally-made souvenirs each evening that reflected Vietnamese culture. From the warm welcome by the resort manager upon arrival to the romantic bath prepared for us on our last night, every detail was carefully thought out. We are already looking forward to returning in the future.
It was one of my best vacations so far. My family was relaxed and enjoyed a lot during the stay. We booked the family villa and had our own private onsen. Villa was clean and tidy, staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. But take note that other facilities like mud bath and public onsen come with charges which confused me at first. Otherwise, everything else is good. I have to give an additional star for the after service. My mom forgot her jewelry after we leave, and we managed to contact the receptionist and return the jewelry back to my mom. Thanks a lot, and we will definitely come back next time
The hotel is in a good area, the decor was pleasant, however in the common areas ”no ar conditioner”.
They have a great sky bar at the last floor, with great view, however we couldn't stand to be there because of the heat. When asked why they didn't turned on the air the answer was because they accept smokers, so windows need to be opened!!! Too bad... we would love to have stayed there...
Additionally, the people are really nice and friendly, but their English are really hard to understand,
I mostly enjoyed my stay at Pilgrimage Hotel Resort Hue. The staff were professional, friendly and always on the lookout for visitors' comfort. Before we checked out, they asked for our flight details so they could offer us airport drop-off and even got someone to prepare a cart in front of our villa to push the luggage to the car! Junrei restaurant, albeit slightly pricey for Vietnam, served up delicious Viet cousine and offered pristine service with on-point service. The rustic and natural atmosphere and environs made the stay very relaxing and serene as well, a very well spent 3d2n at the Resort, would definitely recommend it to others!
This is the best resort in Da Nang. Anyone who is looking for a masterpiece of a course from Sir Nick Faldo, fantastic facility, wonderful views, friendliest and kindest people and amazing food. There are 6 restaurants, outdoor swimming pool, spa, gym and, of course, a golf course on the territory of the hotel. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. We had the best time there. Highly recommend that hotel for solo, couple or family travelers.
Breakfast spread wasn't great for me as I have specific diet needs, but overall enough variety for the average traveller. The yoghurt was absolutely the best I'd ever had tho. Perfectly smooth, not tart, and they had an unsweetened version. The room was neat, clean, housekeeping was efficient - one of the days they ran the bell and we were just on the way out so we said they could go ahead and make up the room anyway. In and out in no time flat!
The concierge service was impeccable. We were treated like royalty. It wasn't just the usual 'standard' politeness, but a friendliness that was so heartwarming I really felt special. We'll definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Hue.
The resort was set in the most beautiful location on the water and surrounded by lush vegetation. The accommodation was spectacular and you could hear the waves lapping round the stilts of our immaculate little bungalow as you slept. The staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and chatty, always seeming interested in how your day had been and eager to make you feel at home. We had several body treatments in the waterside Spa and the tranquil atmosphere was the most relaxing I've ever experienced. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the local specialities definitely worth a try. All in all the experience was second to none and I'd highly recommend it to anyone traveling to this part of the world.

Very Good
SSarah and EricThis hotel is a great value. It’s located near many bars and restaurants, but away from the noise. You can rent motorbikes and do laundry directly with the hotel for the same price as anywhere else in town. Staff members are really nice.
Issues:
-karaoke downstairs Friday and Saturday til 10pm. Don’t plant on being home during these times.
-the alley floods with strange looking water half of the days. Careful with shoes and rolling bags!
-AC hasn’t been cleaned in a while.
We would stay here again simply because of the price.

PPaul AllenThe hotel is ok. The service is excellent and that's what makes it stand apart. The location overall is great, but it was difficult to find as it's in a back ally. Parking is on the street and you need to move the car in the middle of the night to avoid a parking ticket. We didn't try the breakfast as we had other plans, but the setup looked quite nice. The large bed is one that is actually 2 beds put together with a topper. This is a major issue. I understand why management would choose this as it provides more options to accommodate various guests, but the execution never works in any hotel. There's always a dip in the middle and the beds move apart in the middle of the night making sleeping a nightmare; we did not sleep well. This is also the first business (hotel, rest. etc.) that i have experienced in Vietnam that did not have a butt spray cleaner in the toilet area. We were disappointed with that. There is also a terrible cigarette smell in the hallways. It's par for the course for hotels in Asia to have this and I recognize the challenge hotels need to deal with; just unfortunate as the first impressions going up to the room were really effected by it. Cleaning the air and washing the carpets do help a little bit, but really the only way to overcome this is to replace the carpets completely and strictly enforce a no-smoking policy by the staff. Overall, the stay was ok. There is a lot of value for the money to be found here and the friendly staff are what really make the property worth a look, as is the convenience to the walking street for dinner and fun on the weekends.

OOne n OnlyThe manager is very nice, change room for me to nicer room when complain about toilet smell.
I did not realise the air cond not working properly after I came back in evening and basically the controller can not turn on off or control the air conditioner at all, in top the air cond only blows air at 1 speed abdc1 temperature not cool enough, end up sleeping not much at all while night because of very hot in the room with air cond not working properly.
Not trying to tell people how to manage hotel business, but as manager they should check the conditions of rooms, which are good or bad, cabinets doors, corridor carpet need to be replaced etc, if they want to attract more customers, and regularly inspect the rooms, don't wait till customers complain then try to fix problems. apart from all these hotel manager is an absolute nice person. Feel not easy to leave this hotel because she is so nice, but I need to have cool room to sleep well.
Motorbike rental is very nice from this hotel, she offer half day rate because I arrived at 2 pm.
You can do better, try harder, proactively doing things. Room has 2 nice windows and a nice balcony garden. Location of hotel is right in the centre of night eating place and walking streets.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is elegant, warm and comfortable, with two outdoor swimming pools, many lush plants in the courtyard, small bridges and flowing water with fish swimming freely, and the staggered terrain is natural and novel, like a tropical jungle that is refreshing. The unique retro atmosphere in the restaurant and the elegant and unique classical architecture are worth appreciating carefully, and you can enjoy the different feelings while dining. All service staff are of excellent quality, and guests do not need to carry their luggage by hand, and the service is very thoughtful. It is rare to see 👍. Breakfast is also ordered from the menu, and the taste is excellent and the quality is superb. There are too many details worthy of praise in this hotel 👍
GGuest UserThe staff here were wonderful, allowing me early check in and late check out to accommodate my train schedule. They also recommended and helped me book a Hue city tour, which exceeded my expectations. I loved my room with private garden patio. Also appreciated being able to walk to the river and to the train station.
AArcherName774The location is a bit remote from the main streets, but it is within a 10 minute motorcycle ride. It is truly a homestay, there is an auntie who lives there full time, who is relatively friendly. It is shown in the pictures, but I didn't notice that the bed doesn't have a proper frame, it basically lies on the floor on a wooden pallet, but the mattress is decent. The room has lots of electronic devices, such as a dehydrator and an insect killer. The TV is huge. The bathroom experience is also good. The huge issue I had, that made my experience poor is a curtain, that doesn't properly close the window, so it's possible to clearly see the room from the yard. The management provided a makeshift half-solution, and assured me they will fix it in future, but I share my experience. There are some other small issues that should be fixed, but after they complete I think guests should have a good stay.
