The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the view was stunning! We love the breakfast which was included in the room rate for the wide selection and great taste. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner. There is a bistro which serves a more affordable dinner after 5p.m, the staff of the restaurants and bistro were friendly too. There is a free sauna for the customer but unfortunately we had no time to try it. The hiking trail was clearly marked and there was a map available at the reception. There was a guide available after 7pm for the customer to ask questions about aurora sighting. We joined the aurora sky station tour as well! It was a unique and unforgettable experience even though we couldn't see the aurora as it was cloudy, kudos to Jasper the guide as he tried his best to give us the best experience :)

An excellent hotel with excellent service. The restaurant offers delicious and delicate small dishes (tapas). You should miss the Aurora Spa with two hours of relaxing experience, facial and body scrubs, steam and sauna, indoor and outdoor pool in the snow.. Many tours offer free pick up from Camp Ripan and it should be easy for you to get on some tours.

The hotel is next to the lake, which is very suitable for watching the aurora at the door of the hotel. Unfortunately, the clouds were too thick on the day of check-in and we couldn't see the aurora. The hotel has glass houses and cabins. The glass houses look very simple and have low cost performance. You must book all kinds of snow sports in advance, otherwise you will not be able to book them. I played all the way for 6 days, one city every day, thinking about going there and booking all the activities for the next day. In the last 6 days, I didn’t play a single activity. It was very cozy and beautiful Swedish hotel. I loved it very much and it was way cheaper than I expected in Sweden. The breakfast was everything. It was just amazing service they had and I would love to comeback again. I would definitely recommend to lot of Asians. It would be nicer if the reception is working longer and didn’t need to call in Swedish number. But other than that it’s very nice hotel I would recommend ❤️

Room was slightly small but it's located conveniently at central Kalix. Checking in and out was smooth. Staff was friendly. It's a heritage hotel which existence is more than 50 years. There's a stuff bear on the staircase near the lobby which is good for a candid photography. Breakfast was typical Swedish and it was by good.

The place is incredible, a little in the outside part of the old city, we saw the aurora from the hotel. The rooms are fine, the shared spaces are super, breakfast is amazing and the restaurant and in particular Thai food is delicious, you can have lunch or dinner at the hotel and is super good
