This was my second time here and my recommended hotel for work colleagues from the US. They were equally as impressed as my first time here, hence why I came back. Would highly recommend this hotel.
There are many shops nearby, so it was in a convenient location.
The front desk staff were also friendly.
It is about a 20-25 minute taxi ride from the airport.
However, it was disappointing that the room was not cleaned properly, and there was hair and makeup left behind from the previous guest.
The desk was also old, as the wood was peeling and I had to rub my arms against it several times, which hurt.
It's a very nice hotel, probably because it just opened.
Take the 747 from Cheongju Airport and get off at Cheongju Bridge. It's about a 10-minute walk from there.
There aren't many restaurants around, but it's 7-8 minutes to Samgyeopsal Street, so it wasn't inconvenient.
The room was spacious enough. It also had a washlet. The humidity in the room was kept constant, so it wasn't dry.
There were plenty of amenities, so I didn't have to bring anything with me.
There were 5 bottles of water and carbonated water in the refrigerator, which were free.
The bed mattress was just the right hardness, so I slept soundly.
I didn't use it this time, but I also got coupons for affiliated restaurants and bars.
The receptionist ๐ was very friendly and helpful.
There was an automatic check-in/check-out machine, and they spoke Japanese, so I didn't have to wait.
I'll choose this hotel the next time I visit Cheongju. This time it cost 10,000 yen per night, but with free breakfast and excellent facilities and amenities, I think it's a great deal!
I came here with my husband again after coming here with friends 7 years ago, and I was excited to come to Danyang Sonomun, but
the soundproofing was so bad that I could hear the sound of hammering all night long, which I had never heard even at my own home...
The noise was so bad that I came in early to rest, but it woke me up every hour.
I knew that many families come here for family trips because I could hear the sound of hammering and other noises from all directions, to the point where I couldn't tell if they were from the room above or the room next door, but...it was so hard. It seems that only families in groups who plan to be noisy should come. It was hard for a couple to travel together.
It's very good. The store owner can speak Chinese and communication is relatively convenient. It belongs to a small town. There are shopping and dining options. The breakfast is not bad. Compared with there, it is of course not comparable to that in China. After all, the consumption level is there.
We randomly picked this hotel to stay one night and overall not too bad. The room is huge with everything we need. The breakfast is just instant noodle and white bread, donโt waste money for their breakfast.
When you stay at Cielo Hotel in Jecheon, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Eurimji Park and Semyung University. This hotel is 5.3 mi (8.5 km) from Jijeok Museum and 11.6 mi (18.6 km) from Youngwol Y Park.
This hotel offers designated smoking areas.
Featured amenities include express check-out, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities. Free valet parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 30 guestrooms. Complimentary wired and wireless internet access is available. Private bathrooms with showers feature complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Conveniences include desks and separate sitting areas, and housekeeping is provided on request.
It was spacious and comfortable. Above all, it was possible to wash and there was a styler, so I wore it comfortably as if I had ironed my clothes the next day. And I'm very impressed with the attentiveness of the bubble bath, lens barrel and liquid so that you can use it in the bathtub. Breakfast was simplified than I thought, but it was delicious.
I would like to visit again next time.
It's a pleasant hotel because you always kindly respond. The cleanliness and location are also very satisfactory. I think it's the best accommodation nearby in many ways.

TTraveller-ASI know it is the only special hotel in Cheongju, and it is very good. Some of the facilities were under construction, so it was difficult to use the gym and swimming pool, but it was okay. The rooms are large and there are many restaurants nearby, so I had a very comfortable stay. The bed is soft and very good.

AAnonymous UserWe booked a two night stay here, but the first night was so bad that we wanted to check out. Because we brought our elderly with us, they complained that the room was very cold, so we went to the counter and asked for help in English. The counter staff asked us to turn up the temperature ourselves and they would go upstairs to check later. Because the temperature of the other room we booked was not set as high, and due to the language barrier and inability to understand Korean, we waited for about 20 minutes and went to the counter to ask for assistance. At this time, the counter staff took a small electric heater from the counter, turned on the temperature after arriving in the room, plugged in the heater, said nothing, and just left and closed the door... The poor attitude made our whole family dumbfounded. I thought, what did we do wrong? When I returned to the hotel the next day, I saw that there were still tattered sponges and dishcloths in another bathroom.
The breakfast was great! But the service attitude at the counter is really unacceptable.

EengTotal magnificent place to stay and experience total peace and beautiful nature. Snow capped mountains. Owners Mr & Mrs Lee are friendly and helpful. Room is clean warm and cosy. Highly recommended to anyone to visit Danyang, to experience Dodam guesthouse than hotel.
Exceeded expectations. Wi sure recommend friends and family to visit Danyang and Dodam guesthouse.

GGuest UserHonestly, the location was good because I could sleep quietly, but this is a personal preference, so it's hard to see it as good. There was nothing bad. The room I used had a computer, but I couldn't use it. But my personal opinion is that it's a little greedy to hope that the computer will be normal for less than 30,000 won.
Maybe more than 30,000 won room I want to work normally on the computer
I was not particularly uncomfortable or dissatisfied, and I checked the best with satisfaction.
Jjung aThe lake view from the room was nice. It was also pretty when the water mist rose in the morning.
It's a shame that I couldn't go for a walk because it was so cold.
The room facilities and size were just right for sleeping. It's small, but there's a table so you can have a quick snack. I visited during a cold spell, but the floor was warm and well-heated. The sauna is in a different building 2-3 minutes away by car. Overall, it's clean and satisfactory for a local city accommodation. I think I'll visit again if I visit the area again.
