It is very convenient, very walkable to shops and eateries around. Indeed very clean and comfortable. There are ample parking beside and around, not worth it to park at the hotel. Rooms are compact and efficiently laid out.

Superb hotel with direct access from JR station, and 1min walk to the tram stop and sightseeing bus stop. Staff was polite and patiently assisted and provided map on information we needed. Lovely bath salts for our use. Self service luggage deposit allowed us to continue exploring the city after checkup. Recommended stay at Kagoshima.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was lovely. Check in and out was smooth. The hotel is very nice, clean and looks luxurious. Sited right next to Tenmonkan street and 2 min walk to tenmonkan tram station. Donki and Lawson right next door too. Location is very convenient. Room is abit small but we knew this beforehand. Plenty of thoughtful amenities in the room which we really appreciate. Great stay and will come again next time!

The hotel is relatively new, with convenient location and transportation. The airport bus station is just across the street. There are many places to eat and drink around, and it is the most prosperous and lively area in Kagoshima besides the Central Station. Check-in and check-out can be done automatically by machine, which is easy to operate and more convenient than the machines in some other cities in Japan where I have stayed before. Because it is automatic, there is almost no service. Toothbrushes and other things can be taken on the second floor, and you can also mix bathing agents by yourself. The room is small, but the bed is big. It is only suitable for single occupancy. It is not recommended for two people. The room cleaning is only on the third day of consecutive stays. On other days, it is just changing towels and taking out garbage. I stayed for four consecutive nights and came in to clean it on the third day. I think there is no problem. It is more environmentally friendly and saves manpower.

We loved the view from the room, Sakura Island was just in front of us and we could actually see smoke coming out of its crater which was pretty awesome. The pools were also nice and the traditional restaurant near the lobby had some great Japanese food. The service was excellent, too. The only downside was that the bus stop is a bit far and walking to it in the middle of summer isn’t pleasant. But a taxi to the main train station costs around ¥1,800 which isn’t bad.

The staff members were very hospitable. Check in was fast and Jeffrey gave us detailed explanation of the facilities of the hotel. He also greeted us every time he met us in the lobby. While the renovation in the room is old fashioned, it is kept clean. We were very lucky that we had good view of Sakurajima during our two days stay. Breakfast in the lobby cafe and dinner in the Japanese restaurant were good.

A great supermarket across the road that has everything you could need. The hotel was undergoing some renovation work whilst I was there which might explain the great price I got for my three nights.

Except for the need to ring the doorbell and ask the counter to open the door when I wanted to leave my luggage because it was not yet the CHECK IN time, everything else went smoothly. The room was very spacious and the bed was very good to sleep on. The location was really not far from Terukuni Shrine and Shiroyama Observation Deck (at night If you want to enjoy the night view, it’s best to bring a flashlight to illuminate the road because the hiking trail is quite dark)

Take the bus from Kagoshima Airport to Kagoshima Central, and walk to the hotel in about 6-7 minutes. Breakfast is on the 16th floor, with rich varieties, multiple choices, nutritious and healthy 😊 The environment is also very good. You can see Sakurajima directly on one side and Shiroyama on the other side. It is also very convenient to travel around. After staying for 3 nights, I took a high-speed boat directly from the South Pier to Yakushima.

A very good memories staying in Richmond hotel Kinseicho, the staffs are very friendly, and it is convenient that there are laundry serivce(washing machine at the hotel) and free ice cube to take at 9th floor. The room was big though for one person staying. The environment was clean and quiet, I hope next time can bring my family here to stay. Hotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan. Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise! My sincerest gratitude to the professional service and helpfulness of the front desk staff in particular the Div. Manager, Mr. Atsuyoshi Kubota, who patiently search for available medical service during late hours for treating my wife's injury and also voluntarily arrange a staff to accompany us to the hospital. Ram Kumar, the accompanying staff, is instrumemental in our communication to the medical personnels and he is so kind to arrange late dinner for us at the hotel's discretion. They not only demonstrate the highest level of professionalism but also their genuine care of the well being of the customers. Once again, big big thanks to Mr. Kubota and his team of beautiful people. By the way, good breakfast and dinner, both in terms of the menu as well as service and venue.

All the hotel staff were very polite and kind. The rooms were spacious, clean, well-equipped, and well-furnished, and the beds were comfortable. Coffee beans and grinders were provided, so I was able to enjoy freshly brewed coffee in the morning. I was also able to rent a private bath twice, and although it was cold when I got out of the open-air bath, I was captivated by the beautiful garden view, and the water temperature was just right, so I was able to warm up quickly. Typical Japanese-style room, beautiful view outside the window. The camellia in the hotel is in full bloom. Akamatsuyu is great. I saw it twice during my stay at the hotel.
