Perfect location and excellent staff and service. The room was very clean, spacious, and had comfortable beds. However, a fridge for water during the summer would be amazing, and the shower needs a good scrub.

Ideal located in the centre. We were here for our cruise and you walk to the cruise terminal. Hotel is modern clothes. Rooms fine with good air conditioning. Breakfast cheap and good choice. Prima base One point is that the bathroom should have better ventilation.

The price-performance ratio is good. However, the rooms are very old and the cleanliness of the rooms could be better. The breakfast is very good and varied considering the price of €7.90.

There is also very loud noise from the rooftop bar it seems until 12am, would be a concern for early sleepers. For me I did not encounter any problems and have a very nice stay.

I have only positive things to say about the Victoria Letterario, even after the shock during the check in. Upon arrival for check in, the reception staff told me that my booking was cancelled! I showed them the communication of trip.com 3 days earlier confirming my booking, which their system has not registered. Jorge, the concierge, was very apologetic and offered me the only room available that day which I accepted, while he will get in touch with the intermediary to find out what went wrong. It appears that trip.com and similar platforms purchase the beds in great numbers from a company hotelbeds.com- I went to my room and I came down with my iPad and I and Jorge got in touch with Trip.com via my account. Trip.com replied immediately, confirming my booking and promising that they will get in touch with hotelbeds.com. As it was already 7pm, Trip.com did no manage to get through the staff at hotelbeds. Trip.com advice that if hotelbeds.com did no reply or confirm the booking then I'll have to pay and Trip.com will refund me right away. I was happy with that. I stayed the 2 nights in the hotel, and only the morning of the day I checked out the hotel Victoria Letterario received finally the confirmation of the booking from hotelbeds. Trip.com was every effective in dealing with the issue and I'll use them again and Jorge, at the Victoria Letteriario dealt with the issue very professionally all they way through, so did the manager of the hotel too. Trieste is a small city, and you can walk from the hotel to the major landmarks in 20 minutes. I loved the decoration of the rooms, the bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The TV channels were all in Italian but I don't care much about the telly when I travel. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it has everything that a good hotel breakfast should have and more, namely its attentive staff. A five stars stay!!!

The sea view that was slick was also goodㅎㅎ I'm going to ask you guys planning a trip to Trieste. It seems to be a good hotel! Highly recommended

Palace is classic early 1900 architecture and luxury feeling, historic art and beauty accompanied us to the breakfast hall, while room was contemporary and convenient, services recently renewed, the hotel is located in the historic centre of the elegant Port City, car valet service very useful, in 10/15 minutes walking you can reach museums and best cafe’ restaurants

I made my first trip to Trieste. The hotel is close to the station and you can walk to the downtown area, so the location is good. Access to tourist bases is also outstanding. The hotel itself is old, but it would be better to say that it has a taste. The room was clean, the shower was full of water pressure and the hot water came out immediately. If you eat breakfast well, is it good for a triple stroll? I enjoyed drinking late at night at a nearby bar and returned to the hotel, but it is a city without any anxiety

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Trieste. We had a courtyard facing flat on the first (European) floor. There is not too much light but this is actually a good thing in the heat of the summer. The apartment is perfectly equipped, including kitchen basics, iron, laundry, etc. It was very clean, the beds are super comfy, and it felt spacious. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking to the train station, 2 minutes to most bus routes, and within talking distance to main attractions. The staff is very friendly as well.

I came here for the Udine far east film festival. The hotel is around 1km from train station and 2km from teatro nurvo. Which is quite easy to get on foot. The hotel have breakfast provided with boiled eggs and fruits and cornflakes corrisant. ..for the price I paid I'm satisfied. I recommend the gelato shop next to hotel and there is a coin laundry conveniently located next to hotel. Generally speaking the hotel staff are nice.

The room is average, the facilities are old, the internet speed is very good, breakfast has croissants, bread and cheese jam and coffee juice. No meat slices and pickled olives. It is not expensive. The seafood restaurant downstairs tastes very good and the price is not cheap. The last time I ate, the per capita was nearly 60 knives, including three bottles of red wine.

Arrived at the store at 9 pm, but no one received it. It is said that the hotel actually has 4 rooms, and the door with a code lock is more like a homestay. I found a small assistant from Trip.com. After contacting, I said that the front desk was off work at 8:30, but I didn't inform in advance and didn't leave any notice. Wait until 9:30 to be called to inform the unlock password to enter the room. Good location and complete facilities. The room is spacious. The service is really bad. Ctrip's little assistant is good, contact at 3 o'clock in the night of Beijing time until the problem is solved.

Hotel well located, closed to Udine city. There is a free convenient parking. If you don’t have a car it is not very convenient to reach it. I just stayed one night during business trip. I booked a standard room. Basic amenities but clean. However it was not possible to lift the roller shutter. So not good if you want to spend some times in the room. There is a pool and spa service but I didn’t have time to use it. Breakfast is extra 9€ but good and with both sweet and salty options. Polite and nice receptionists. If you don’t care of pool and spa and you are on business trip maybe other options will be better.
