Although we stayed in a basement room this time, the Smart Choice King Room we booked was surprisingly well-lit and very spacious. It was impeccably clean every day, completely odor-free, and the bathroom had excellent water pressure. The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming, contributing to a truly great travel experience.
The hotel is conveniently located near Shangzhi Metro Station, less than a 5-minute walk away. It's also within easy walking distance of major attractions like Central Street, Saint Sophia Cathedral, and Daoli Market. For dining convenience, there's a convenience store and a noodle shop right outside the entrance.
Harbin in August boasts clear blue skies, with comfortably cool and refreshing weather, making it perfect for sightseeing.

I stayed here with my mom for one night, and we truly enjoyed our experience. The hotel is in a perfect location right on Central Street and just a short walk from Sofia Church. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. I honestly wish we could have stayed longer.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. A special thank you to Air, she was incredibly kind and attentive during breakfast, and her warm attitude made our morning even better.
Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Harbin. We would love to come back!

The location is great, just a few minutes' walk to St. Sophia Church. However, the room type I booked was a dark room, with no windows, and the air conditioning was just for show, not working. In winter, after Harbin's heating system kicks in, not having windows or working AC makes it very stuffy. I had to frequently go out into the corridor for fresh air. If it hadn't been so late, I would have wanted to change rooms. In the end, we chatted until 3 AM and set an alarm for 6 AM to go sightseeing and have breakfast. So, I recommend choosing a room with a window if you're planning to book. Also, perhaps because dark rooms are cheaper, smoking might be allowed, as there was a slight smell of smoke in the bathroom. For non-smokers, especially those sensitive to smells, you might notice it. On the bright side, the elevator works, and food delivery can come up to the room. The front desk service was also good. An auntie even brought a fan, and upon checkout, they gave practical small gifts like tissues and hand cream. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I understood the true definition of ”luxury.” The European palace-style decor was elegant and grand, with artwork adorning the walls and carpets so plush my toes sank into them – every detail exuded centuries of refined taste. The service was impeccable; the concierge proactively took my luggage, the front desk staff handled check-in with patience and meticulousness, and they even remembered my niche preferences. I felt genuinely cared for, like family, with absolutely no sense of distance.
The room's design was a work of art. Soft, apricot-colored bathrobes, fresh-cut roses replenished daily, custom fragrances lingering in the air, and an electric curtain that revealed a stunning view. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, instantly melting away travel fatigue. The bathroom was spacious with practical double sinks, and the amenities were top-notch. Taking a bath while watching the mirror TV added a wonderful touch of ceremony.
The dining experience was equally impressive. The breakfast buffet was displayed like an art exhibition, with fresh and exquisite ingredients. The chef even thoughtfully brought out freshly made Eggs Benedict. The custom cocktails at the Hemingway Bar were rich and smooth, and their extensive wine collection was simply astounding. From the attentive service in the public areas to the thoughtful details in the room, this stay created unforgettable and beautiful memories.
This hotel truly lives up to its reputation as a synonym for top-tier luxury. Everything, from the facilities to the service, was exceptional. It absolutely deserves a five-star recommendation, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

We were very satisfied with our stay in Harbin this time. The hotel's location is really convenient, right in the city center and inside a shopping mall, making it super easy to get anywhere. Next time we visit Harbin, we will definitely choose to stay here again.
Thank you for your service and for all your arrangements. The room was warm and comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. The only minor issue was that the elevator was a little bit finicky, but other than that, everything was fantastic.
We will also leave a positive review on the app so more people can see how wonderful and convenient this place is. Thanks again!

This hotel has very spacious rooms and incredibly hospitable staff. The afternoon tea, available until late at night, was delicious. The bathroom was huge and so warm you could comfortably wear a T-shirt. Everything was very clean. Just a two-minute walk downstairs is the famous Hongzhuan Morning Market, and it's a short walk to St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street. The subway is also just two minutes away on foot, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The best part is the excellent value for money! I didn't try the hotel breakfast, but I heard it's very rich and varied, so I'll definitely experience it next time!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being close to both the morning and night markets, as well as several important riverside attractions. Dining and shopping options are also very convenient. The rooms are spacious with a practical layout, and basic amenities were mostly in place. As Heihe's morning market is quite famous, we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that.
However, the cleanliness was not up to par; there were small flying insects in the room, likely coming up from the drain. The service also left much to be desired. Not only did they fail to accommodate our request for a room away from the elevator, but they assigned us a room right by the elevator entrance, citing room type as the reason. Later, we discovered that rooms of our booked type were indeed available further from the elevator. Furthermore, to borrow an umbrella, we had to pay a 50 deposit per umbrella. While it was refunded immediately upon return, it still left a slightly unpleasant feeling for a hotel guest.

I usually just book a hotel for convenience when I'm on a business trip, but this one completely exceeded my expectations! They actually have a coffee machine in the lobby, so I could grab a hot coffee in the morning – way more convenient than ordering delivery. The front desk staff were also incredibly warm and attentive. Plus, the location is excellent, and after finishing up work in the evening, I hit the gym. The equipment was pretty comprehensive, so I didn't need to go searching for a separate gym, which saved me a lot of hassle. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. From the moment the sister who picked me up at the station started helping me, I knew I had made the right choice. She was so kind, helping with my luggage and enthusiastically introducing the hotel, nearby malls, and local snacks. The area around the hotel is incredibly lively, right next to Wanda, with tons of restaurants. It's also very close to the subway station, making it super convenient to reach attractions via Lines 2 and 3. The front desk upgraded my room, which was very clean inside. The facilities were excellent and comprehensive, even including a small fridge. Since I'm prone to mosquito bites, I specifically requested an electric mosquito repellent, and the staff promptly brought it up with great enthusiasm. The hotel breakfast was also quite good, but what really stood out was the late-night supper. The sister preparing the supper was incredibly warm; both the hot and sour noodles and the wontons were absolutely delicious. Overall, staying here felt very cozy and welcoming. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Harbin.

I specifically chose this Shangri-La, a bit further from the city center, because parking is convenient. It's also very close to the Tiger Park for a morning visit, and I could even catch some extra sleep after seeing the tigers. The view from the window is nice, you can see the Ferris wheel. The price during the National Day holiday was also excellent; it offered good value for money.

GGuest UserMy recent stay at the Yabu Loni Hotel was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. It perfectly combined comfort, convenience, and fantastic service, making for a memorable winter getaway.
First and foremost, the hotel itself is lovely. The hotel counter staff are helpful and friendly too. The rooms are nice and cozy, providing the perfect warm and inviting retreat after a long day on the slopes. It felt like a true home away from home.
The highlight of our trip was the seamless ski package coordinated with the Sun Mountain Ski Resort, the snowboard equipment is new. The package made everything incredibly easy, and I must give a special commendation to the staff at Sun Mountain Resort. They were exceptionally professional and efficient. Their excellence was truly demonstrated when I unfortunately lost my DJI Pocket 3 on the way to the slope. Once I reported it lost, they managed the situation brilliantly and, to my immense relief, helped me find it! This level of care and responsibility is truly above and beyond.
When it came to dining, the hotel’s restaurant, Er Bin Si Fang Cai, was a delight. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet provided by the hotel every morning, which was a great way to start the day. The food and service were so good that I ended up having dinner at the restaurant every night. The service was attentive, and the food was consistently delicious.
In summary, I highly recommend Yabu Loni Hotel. The cozy atmosphere, valuable ski package, and outstanding service from both the hotel and Sun Mountain Resort team make it a top choice. I will definitely be returning!
MM37366****Great location, very close to Central Street, and the price is quite reasonable. The front desk staff, both young men and women, were exceptionally friendly. The room was very clean and quiet, and the bathroom was spacious. The housekeeping staff were also very responsible. Breakfast was quite rich, with fruit, dairy products, pastries, and both hot and cold dishes available.

SStacy SohAfter taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village.
Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀
They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries.
Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear.
Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time.
Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu.
Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam.
Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. God bless her 🙏🏼
I wish to come again with my family, and i will stay here
IIBRAHIM إِبۡرَاهِيمَ 依布拉欣If you're planning to visit the Harbin Ice and Snow World, remember to purchase spikes at the counter (8 YUAN). It's affordable and can prevent falls and injuries. Unfortunately, I slipped on the ice and badly hurt my ankle. Luckily, there's a nearby hospital, Harbin Shengfeng Hospital, just a 10-15 minute walk away (you can use Google Maps). The doctors there are helpful, but they don't speak English, so bring your passport and use Google Translate if needed.
On a brighter note, I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. They have a large mirror and a hot water station where you can prepare instant noodles. Although they don't have a kitchen, you can easily get utensils and a mug from nearby convenience stores, especially if you're planning to make coffee.
One thing I found really convenient was the international charger ports provided for each bed. Before checking out, remember to strip your bed and leave a note in the lobby to indicate your presence. I left a Malaysian flag as my mark.

CChunxiaqiudongThe hotel entrance is on a one-way street, and you can park on both sides, but it costs 6 yuan per hour. Parking is free from 8 PM to 7 AM. There seem to be a few free parking spots right in front of the hotel, but I never managed to get one, nor did I ever see them empty. This is something friends driving here should definitely keep in mind.
The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral, which is quite convenient, so it offers good value for money.
The hotel seems to have been open for quite a while; the rooms are on the smaller side. One thing worth praising is the excellent water pressure! The hotel staff are also very friendly.

YYburnnavoyagesMy friend and I had the pleasure of staying at Grand Mercure hotel in Harbin, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we entered, I was struck by the spotlessly clean surroundings and the comfortable feeling that enveloped us. The high ceiling added a touch of grandeur to the ambiance, making it feel a luxury 5-star accommodation, all at a budget-friendly price.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the comfortable bed and fresh linens. I had the best sleep and woke up feeling refreshed, as if I had slept like a baby. The attention to detail in ensuring a comfortable sleep experience was truly commendable.
The hotel staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. Despite some language barriers, they went above and beyond to assist me with anything I needed and provide accurate information. I vividly remember ALAN CHEN or Chan, although I'm unsure of the exact spelling of his name. He was always attentive to our concerns and questions, taking the time to communicate and ensure we received the correct directions. Their dedication and willingness to assist made a lasting impression on me.
In terms of location, the hotel was conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easily accessible from the airport which is around 45mins or less.
The ride took less than 10 minutes to reach the high-speed railway station from the hotel. However, I must mention that there weren't many convenient shops in the immediate vicinity, which might be a minor inconvenience for some travelers.
Our only issue during our stay was the room temperature, which was quite warm. Despite adjusting the thermostat, we couldn't achieve a comfortable coolness. We resorted to opening the window slightly to let in some fresh air, but leaving it open throughout the night posed the risk of catching a cold. It would be highly beneficial if the hotel could consider providing a humidifier, as the air in the room felt excessively dry.
Overall, my stay at this hotel was truly amazing. The cleanliness of the hotel, the exceptional staff, and the convenient location all contributed to a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Harbin and would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit. The management may want to look into improving the room temperature control and addressing the dryness in the air to ensure an even more pleasant stay for future guests.

11880749****My daughter and I visited Harbin for the first time, and we were thoroughly impressed by everything. The Xiyue Hotel was undoubtedly the highlight, truly living up to its name and bringing us much joy. The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, and service were all impeccable. Its location is superb, being just about a ten-minute walk from all the main attractions. The self-service laundry room was a great convenience, helping to refresh our travel-worn clothes. The electric massage beds provided much-needed relaxation for our weary bodies after a day of sightseeing. The housekeeping staff were attentive and genuinely warm, ensuring we returned each day from our excursions to a spotless and tidy room.

__WeChat460420****What's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night?
The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.
