"Great! A taxi can take you directly to the guesthouse. When I arrived it was late, past midnight, and the owner was waiting for me at the door, even helping me with my luggage. He patiently and meticulously answered all my questions about the itinerary, including when to go to Xiaodongjiang in the morning, and the schedule for going to Gaoyiling and the high-speed rail station. I was very satisfied with the room; although not large, it was cozy, with a good selection of disposable amenities, and it was clean. The temperature was low at night, and the air conditioning worked well. I especially loved the recliner. Regarding the scenic area: It's very close to Xiaodongjiang; just a few minutes' walk to the right after exiting the guesthouse. Unfortunately, I didn't see any fog this time. It seems the best time to visit is from the end of May until National Day. Also, you might see fog if you go early on a weekday. It's better to get off at platform 1 and watch the net casting; there are fewer people, and you don't waste time. Getting off at platform 2 would waste the time you might have had to see the fog. The best time for viewing and taking photos is probably around platform 3. It takes more than half an hour to get to Gaoyiling by taxi. The barbecue skewers were delicious!! After visiting Xiaodongjiang, I ate some small fish and shrimp at a casual restaurant next to the guesthouse. The taste was okay, but a bit pricey. "It was a real pleasure staying in this hotel! The environment is beautiful and the air is fresh, which is especially suitable for relaxation. The air conditioning and heating effect is quite good, but the wind speed is not enough and the heater can't blow down. The hotel can consider increasing the air volume! "The room layout is quite unique; it's a walk-up with no elevator, and the stairs are narrow. There's no private parking, so you have to park on the street or in a nearby paid parking lot for 10 yuan for 12 hours. The owner will reimburse 10 yuan based on the parking receipt. The hygiene was mediocre; the bedding wasn't very clean, and the duvet and sheets were rough. The bathroom floor drain had a bad smell. No complimentary bottled water was provided. Of the two rooms we booked, one had some lifting floorboards and water pooled in the bathroom. Also, you need to add them on WeChat in advance to check in. Overall, the value for money is pretty average."

The community environment was beautiful and the fragrance (plant and flower fragrance) came from my face. As soon as I arrived at the villa, the boss was warmly received, the environment was particularly comfortable, clean and tidy, and it was very noble. This is not one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend that wanderers who come to Dongjiang Lake to play can choose a river view room. They must come to a simple hotel to experience it. I will choose this villa hotel again next time, the price is not expensive and upscale."
