Very disappointing hotel stay. Poor hotel management.
Room only available around 4pm despite check in from 2pm. Having travelled 24 hours, this was not ideal however staff were polite and friendly. The room allocated did not have toilet paper nor did the remote controls worked for the air conditioning and TV, again not a big issue as staff quickly resolved issues when brought to their attention. After a nap, I noticed the toilet was blocked, hotel staff advised their maintenance guy was on leave and hotel was fully booked and no alternative room was available until the next day! The solution given was to use the staff toilet which was on the 7th floor ( room was on the 3rd floor). This was not convenience nor ideal as I was not use to a squat toilet.
No major issues during my second night stay. Although amenities advertised was misleading. The TV and wifi did not work. The restaurant/ breakfast was not available.
On my 3rd and final night, I was awoken at 12.30am and noise continued for 1.5hours. I initially thought it was a noisy hotel guest however upon inspection it was hotel staff doing room maintenance! I complained to the front desk who was apologetic and work ceased, It was now 3am and I am wide awake!
Only positives from my stay was the hotel staff in particular the guy on night duty at the front desk and the cleaning lady. The hotel is also in a great location.
