White Olive Elite Laganas

HOTEL The hotel is located in a quieter part of the very busy town of Laganas. The lobby, restaurant, pool, everything is modern and well-maintained. There are 3 pools, the first, by the bar, is suitable for performance swimming and has a children's pool 40 cm deep on its edge. The second pool is more for some group sports and games, and there is also a small whirlpool. The third pool is located directly next to the restaurant, and it also has a children's pool (depth 60 cm). In my opinion, this is where a designer or architect really made his mark. The water in the pools was 24-30°C, depending on the time of day, and was perfectly clear. The water does not smell of chlorine. All pools are surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas. What surprised us was that there are several inflatable pool loungers, balls, hoops, and other things available. We really didn't understand why the pool attendant kicked us out of the restaurant pool with a baby who was equipped with swimming and safety gear and was accompanied and supervised by three adults. This was not explained to us. Not only in the hotel, but also on the entire island and basically throughout Greece, there are cats. These are part of this country, the Greeks love them, and if you don't, don't go to Greece. I have seen other guests kicking cats, for example. There are two cats living by the hotel and often visitig it, but they are not disturbing guests, if they don't want to. STAFF Complete satisfaction - everyone, except for the above-mentioned one-off exception, is absolutely helpful, willing, and kind, most of them speak good English. We were here with a two-year-old child, which is not always pleasant for everyone, but the staff was excellent and even made jokes with him. In particular, Bruna, Criss, Costas, Joanna, and Romeo are professional employees, overflowing with genuine kindness, helpfulness. ROOM Our room (superior triple) was modernly equipped, with a balcony and a large bathroom, equipped with a safe, electric kettle, a drip coffee maker, a refrigerator, tea, coffee, and utensils. We received a very pleasant fruit basket and sparkling wine as a welcome gift. Although we read in reviews that the waste smells, this was not the case in our room. However, it is true that the waste drains slowly - but this is caused by the guests themselves - they come from the beach all covered in sand and go to shower in the room instead of in the designated areas... The room is simply great, the "worst" thing that was in the room was a slightly worn-out handle in the bathroom, but I'm more writing this as a kind of "joke". The room is cleaned and swept every day, and the bed linen and towels are changed every day. FOOD The food evaluation is very subjective, but I will try to provide an objective assessment. I’m currently staying at the white olive elite and have nothing but positive things to say. The staff are exceptionally friendly & helpful. The food choices are excellent, especially for my vegetarian friend. The whole hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and have everything you need. Fridge, safe and Aircon. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Zante. Take a 20 minute walk to cameo island. Definitely worth a visit.

Really lovely hotel, the service is fantastic and all the staff were extremely lovely, Sira was so helpful and solved any queries that we had efficiently and pleasantly. The food was delicious and rooms were very clean. Our experience overall was so good, would definitely recommend visiting this hotel!!

We had a special time at the hotel! Everything was perfect! The foods and the drinks were excellent and we have a big variety to choose what we had any time. The service was really good. Everybody was kind and friendly. The restaurants and the bars were very clean! Thank you very much!

Really modern and clean hotel, multiple pools make it so easy to dip in whenever you want. The food is very good quality however if you're a fussy eater you may struggle as they don't always have Chicken nuggets, fries etc. Two members of staff who especially shone were Paulina and Romeo, who were energetic and so kind to us throughout the stay, so much so that they made my holiday!

The bar is hopeless, as is the food... and I guess that's all, don't go here with small children! people walk around drunk at night and make noise like cattle... wasted time! Poor hotel, no activities for children, no variety of food, definitely no fruit, food left from the previous day. Overall, I DO NOT RECOMMEND! The sunbeds were occupied with towels and you couldn't use them, stay away from this hotel!

Very modern en nice looking hotel! The location is perfect and via a small street the beach is within 100 metres of the hotel. The three pools are amazing and sunbeds are always available. The hotel staff was very helpfull and provided us with various tips for exploring the island. The food was good in comparison with other all-inclusive concepts we experienced before. The diner options changed everyday and all food was very tasteful and mostly warm. We also loved the bar with plenty of cocktails to choose. Mid-summer there are a lot of groups of young English boys and girls. They might cause some disturbance at the pool in the afternoon and when they return from the ***** in the middle of the night and/or early morning. The rooms are unfortunately not soundproof enough to block these noises.

This is mine second time in Zakynthos in this beautiful hotel . Ive been in june 2022 and i liked it very much design and crew. The crew is very lovely and helpfull . i can't find any bad thing about the service, hotel or food . The food is amazing and everyone will choose something for yourself . The buffet is full in breakfast , lunch and dinner , you can drink all day in pool bar or talk to the friendly staff. as I wrote before, we are here for the second time and I was very happy to see some of the same waiters for the second time . One more time - the crew is amazing . I would like to came here for the next year and I recommend this hotel everyone who wonder . the atmosphere here is indescribable and it is my best time. will definitely be back again
