Samira Club Family and Couples Only

We are leaving samira in 3 hours. This hotel is basic, but we've had the best holiday. Staff are amazing, entertainment try and include you in everything and are very attentive. Waiting staff are lovely, as are reception and cleaners. Our room was cleaned daily and although tired, it was clean and comfortable. The pool and aqua slides are a bonus! And the kids (and adults) loved them. We only left the hotel once to go to the marina, but in my opinion, the food in the hotel was better. The pasta and pizza are lovely. Kids haven't stopped eating. Everything had s9 much taste to it, by far the best all inclusive I've been too. Beer is lovely, we don't drink shorts so I can't comment. We go all inclusive quite often and usually 4 or 5 star, but this is the first holiday where I've genuinely had fun and laughed and enjoyed the food. There are numerous nationalities here and everyone gets on, smiles, makes conversation. We will definitely be back. Tip: bring a hairdryer. They have one behind reception but you have to be quick. Beware of the older fruit man, he did rip me off on fruit, the younger guy is much more honest Don't stroke the camels on the beach, we stroked one, ended up on it then we were ordered to pay 60 dinar which we refused. Haggle everything, but be respectful and tip, they don't earn much out here and it just shows that generosity for all the hours they work 🥰

so where do we start, we booked a family room unaware that the room was just 1 room with 1 double and 2 singles in it and just a shower and toilet in a separate room, not very good for blended families, how ever we did pay an extra 300 dinars (about £75) and upgraded the room which was well worth it, kids had there own room and shower/toilet as did the adults. This is not in true fashion a hotel as such, rooms were like apartments separate from the reception/bar/dining area, the staff were all nice and friendly and enjoyed a tip or 2. Even in our upgraded room we had no kettle facilities, the Tv didnt work and one that did didnt have any channels for the kids (this is aimed at younger families whilst getting ready) Wifi was good 90% of the time and was throughout the resort less the dinning area (but tbh that was good as kids always on fones lol) Food, well this was unique definitely not catered towards the British tourists, what i wouldn't of done for some Bacon, Sausage or even scrambled eggs and thats just breakfast, lunch and evening meals were very disappointing but kids loved the pasta, the snack bar was equally a let down, same old stuff everyday, and if you wanted anything nicer it came at a cost (for us coming off a holiday in Turkey to Tunisia it is miles different so please at this place dont expect Turkish type all inclusive hospitality) no free ice cream apart from 1 type of ice lolly, but onsite if you want something different u pay about 8 dinas for a decent ice cream. Drinks bar, well the selection was Beer, Whisky, Vodka, Gin or Rum again compared to previous type hols bit of a let down, any fancy cocktails came at a price, service behind the bar was painfully slow in a area that was really hot as they had no aircon, the waiters were pleasant and if you tipped them they would be a bit faster at bringing your beer out, TOP TIP take your own PINT glass they serve the beer in little glasses thats prob like a 3rd of a pint if your luckly Entertainments, the team worked hard at getting folk involved in activities throughout the day, be aware that there are folk who walk the pool side calling Strawberries and offer you some then get you paying for them, it gets annoying after day 1 of this, there is a chap called Mr Lover Lover who does Henna ink work, from my wife and her daughter stay away it cost them 190 dinas for shoody lopsided ink work, there is another chap whos work does look really good Swimming pools, the have 1 main one and then just around corner they have 1 with the main slides, these are fun to go on, my only issue was day 4 (and i know it happens and sometimes cant be helped) but a kid decided to S**t in the main pool, on alerting the life guard he got the net scooped it out,walked around the pool side where everyone is and dumps it over the hedge and that was it, so kids needles to say didnt go in for a day or 2 after that, also please be aware that we all sliced our toes on what every there is under the water w

If I could tell you to go on holiday to a hot country. I would… you get many adverts and see so many videos of places to go on holiday and then you go on it and you get a little bit disappointed. This was nothing like that. It was phenomenal. Out of this world. A hot country, with beautiful scenery. Amazing facilities, a 24-hour snack bar. Amazing hospitality as well. A wide range of activities. A mini club for the littlens and a beautiful terrace with amazing views and a great place to capture memories. The one thing that I really loved about the whole place which wrapped my little holiday into a perfect one was the animation team. Not only would they encourage you to get involved in activities and up dancing but they also became great friends. If you want to go to a place where you want to get encouraged to do things out of your comfort zone this is the place to go. I was so scared of doing karaoke a big thing about my self-confidence but every single animator made it easier by not only encouraging me to do it but getting the crowd to join in with me. Not only are they amazing people. They are incredible dancers. Incredible people and they make Samira club the place where you can be you. So , Chico, Diego, Tito, Alex, Fly, William, Radi, Yá go and the rest of the animation team. The staff, cleaners and the bartenders. We will be back in October and we cannot wait for another amazing holiday.

Absolutely amazing time went as a family of 4 all over 18 and had the best time. Great facilities, clean rooms and very friendly and polite staff. There was lots to do, horse riding, parasailung etc at an extra charge but reasonable.the entertainment team are out of this world, they work hard and nothing is too much trouble they made our holiday big thanks to Chiko, Radi, Fly, Alex, Diego, Tsan, Yago, Tito and William you guys rock !!!

Just got back yesterday from a week with family The staff are friendly and helpful The pool area is great big pool and the slides for the kids…my kids age 9 & 12…Day activities are good.. the area around the pool could do with being cleaned a little more and the Matt’s that go on the sun loungers are not cleaned down at the end of the day… Beach is lovely ,water park great.. horse riding is good my daughter did it for her birthday.. The spa is excellent me hubby and the kids..we had the whole package for 1 hour 30 mins and the kids for free… The rooms are fine little dated but you only sleep and shower the pictures online showing you a fridge you have to pay for 10 denar a day for so it not included. The food was good something for everyone yes does get Little the same but that all inclusive..

Hotel is lovely, very clean and best housekeeping we have ever experienced (even in 5* resorts) Staff are so friendly and brilliant with kids - particularly Halim (Restaurant) and Yago (Animation Team) Local excursions can be booked with numerous staff in hotel - they can approach quite frequently but very polite and respectful if you are polite to them! We done the Camel Riding/Horse & Carriage excursion which we'd definitely recommend - we went with our 3 year old and 6 month old so perfect for all the family! We took a taxi to the Marina (10Td each way) which was lovely - usual pushy 'salesmen' but again friendly enough.. Cannot fault the food or drinks at all (for all of our family) - fresh cooking stations at Breakfast & Dinner, 24 hour Snack Bar and 24 hour Drinks, etc The pool area was lovely and clean, comfortable beds with mattress (at no extra cost) and lots of entertainment from the Animation Team! The beach is beautiful - sun loungers, parasols and tables provided (again at no extra cost) - staff are so helpful and approachable! Mr 'Henna Tattoo Man' (Scandar?) was lovely and provided a great service! Tattoos topped up again the day before we left to keep them lovely and bold! Super friendly! Overall we have fallen in love with Tunisia, the People and the Food and look forward to returning next year!

First of all lets start from advantages because there is only a few. 1. Alcohol drinks are alcohol drinks, beer is also okay. 2. Low/budget price at least in May. 3. Beach is quite tidy and nice. 4. Hotel staff (receptionists, cleaning ladies, bartenders) except most of the guys from animation team). 5. Sets of towels are changed daily. 6. Good baguettes, pancakes with chocolate and omletes in restaurant (that is all). Now lets quickly discuss how it looks in real Samira Club. Most of the good reviews here are forced by Animation Team guys who are pushy and force you to write good reviews 5/5 or write them for you. Plus, they take pictures, if they screw someone, then they get bonuses from the bosses. The stench, there's a stench everywhere. It stinks in the bungalows, and at the night shows in the hall next to the reception can't be entered because there's no ventilation and it just smells like fart. I don't know how the rest of the guys were holding out. . . The food in the restaurant is greasy, tasteless, monotonous and you don’t want to go there at all. Cheese and ham taste like cardboard. Fruits are practically absent, and vegetables are deep frozen.If there is something better to eat, it quickly disappears by taboos of hungry people from Romania and Eastern Europe, unfortunately later they do not fill up again... Worst mattress I've ever slept on, plus two single beds in the room instead of one. Hygiene problems, too. The best example is a small number of glasses for drinks in the evenings. The staff collects the glasses and doesn't even wash them, and then pours the other guests drinks into these unwashed glasses. Even when they wash it, it is only sprayed with cold water, so be careful and use straws. Sheets and beddings with stains. At the end I would like to add that I know it was budget hotel but reviews on trip advisor completely confusing, now I know why... If they could improve some aspects as hygiene, food and not so intrusive guys from animation team it would not be that bad. But for now, 1st and last time. I recommand to go for a dinner to the local restaurants in Hammamet old or new city, You will not die from hunger then. But please be carefull when You want to buy something from local shops/bazaars. Please, bargain. Prices are inflated. The real price is MAXIMUM 10-15% of the initial price. Do not believe in handmade/original etc.. haha I'll attach some photos of the room.

The food is monotonous. The rooms are clean but need renovation or refreshment. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The advantage is Wifi throughout the hotel and on the beach. The animations are interesting. The waiters were very nice. The only minus is the behavior of two animators who keep asking for a cigarette. When they are refused, they become rude or stop asking for various games. After pointing out to one animator that the rules for playing football in the pool are different, he said that he was the boss here and if I had a problem with that. I have never experienced such rude treatment of guests before. In addition, they encourage guests to write good reviews about the hotel. Overall, I don't recommend it.

The hotel has 3 stars. Rooms clean. In the bathroom there is a handset tied with a string. The tiles in the pool are falling off. The food is monotonous. What remains to be desired is the behavior of a few animators who are nice and then ask for cigarettes. One of them came up himself and without asking took the last cigarette from the pack and lit it. Animators encourage guests to write good opinions about the hotel here. The advantage is WiFi available throughout the facility and a snack bar open until 24. All inclusive and drinks until 6.00. The waiters and bartenders were great, as were the rest of the hotel staff. I will not return to this hotel again. I do not recommend.
