We visited with our young kids (9,6 and 4) during April Easter holidays. We really enjoyed it here. The place is clean and the staff are really helpful and attentive. The place needs a refurbishment (not anything major, like I said it’s clean and in working order). I picked this hotel because I needed a hotel that would cater for my picky eaters (so having a wide variety was important) in this regard the hotel was amazing, the magico buffet restaurant had a good variety of food to good standard… (Not Michelin stars here but very tasty food). My kids had fresh pancakes everyday (with various toppings), fries, nuggets, spaghetti, oven fried chicken. I liked the grilled fish, pastas and the Tunisian cuisine. There are lots of salads and veg dish too. I saw a section for vegans which had three dishes and tried one with aubergines and it was very nice. The menu changes slightly everyday but staples like chips and spaghetti and pizzas (freshly cooked in pizza oven) are always available. The buffet was very clean and well served by staff. The waiting staff were efficient and polite. The rooms were clean, there is a hairdryer attached to the bathroom. The floor does get wet in the bathroom but just put down a towel. There is no iron but I used the laundry services which were quite cheap and I was happy. Wifi was very good in rooms. The maids tidied our room everyday ( and my kid had a nosebleed so sheets were bloody but they cleaned it up) There is a heated indoor pool which we used, this is a hazard as there is no grip on the tiles and it’s very slippery, my 6 year slipped and hurt herself on the tiles, I think this could be easily resolved by maybe placing rubber grips on the floor? So it’s not slippery. There is an outdoor family pool (has shallow end) which was heated on one of the days but not othet days. The pools with waterslides were not heated and they werr too cold. The beach was amazing. when the sun is out the water looks beautiful!! the staff clean the beach everyday. there is a lifeguard on the beach for when it gets very tidal! there is a beach bar that serves drinks (cocktails/mocktails ) and toasted sandwiches. we had a fair few traders come up to us to sell jewellery and scarves. they did not hassle us we said No a few times. There was one that offered camel rides on the beach and we did this. i did not see any watersports at the beach, maybe this was the wrong time of year but if there was any visibility we might have considered it. There are alot of free activities available, (download the tui app!) we opted for Archery for the kids, there are different sessions available for different aged kids. This was really good and one of the highlights of our trip Alex the instructor was really knowledgable and encouraging. She was also really good with the kids. There are kids clubs available and they seem quite good. We didn't use them because we wanted to be with the kids but the kids club entertainers are very engaging and I feel like my
