Hotel Yantai Laishan District

This is the most satisfying hotel I have ever stayed in. Not only is the hotel's exterior very distinctive, but the hotel's public areas are even more stunning, including the elevator hall, dining area, lobby, etc., not to mention the rooms, Hitachi central air conditioning, marble floors, and luxury in every detail. It's perfect, and I will come to Yantai again for the hotel next time.

Great location for beautiful ocean views and ocean side walks. We can see the ocean from our balcony. Breakfast was delicious and lots of variety for only $5. Parking is free and easy. Staff are super friendly. hotel provides free clothes washing soap and offer free clothes dryer services which is a greatly helpful when most hotels do laundry services for a super high fee. Only downside was that the ac was not cold enough and it was centrally controlled therefore we could only adjust the fan power but not the room temperature. But overall a very good value for what we get.

The room is enough, the mattress is very comfortable and feels like a sink, and I slept for several nights. There are also smart speakers on the table, but we don't know how to use it. There is no smart toilet, and the cabinet that cannot be opened by a wall when entering the door has not been designed with a full-length mirror. The window should have seen the back of the sea and a building was blocked. The breakfast I went to eat at 8:30 was not hot, the staff was too busy to come, but the buns were still very delicious.

This hotel’s rooms are very good, clean and newly renovated just like the pictures. It’s across the street from the ocean which is nice but no room has a window that faces the ocean, you can see it from a side view only. The breakfast was a traditional chinese breakfast including dumplings and steamed buns, it was good. The staff are eager to help. Bottled water is provided but bring your snacks as there is no mini market nearby. Overall it is catered to Chinese tourists but a “westerner” can definitely do fine staying here and save a bit of money on an oceanfront hotel.

The breakfast is very rich, with a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. A bowl of dumpling soup in the morning is warm and delicious. The porridge and side dishes are also a good match, and there are high-protein foods such as eggs and prawns. You can also order noodles, wontons, fried eggs, etc. for free at the kitchen counter. Nutritious and delicious, very good!

Taking advantage of the May Day holiday to take the children out for a walk, at the request of my daughter, the hotel requires a bathtub and a tent. For a family with two children, the bed must be big enough. After choosing for a long time, I feel that only Fulitai International Hotel meets the requirements and the price is reasonable. We arrived at 10 o'clock on the day of check-in. I thought we would have to wait until 2 o'clock to check in, but I didn't expect Niu Xueping and Liu Yanhui at the front desk to check us in enthusiastically and upgrade us to a big-mouthed monkey theme room for free. As soon as we entered the guest room, Xiaoqing from the housekeeping depar**ent brought fruits and yogurt in time. Because there were more of us and the water consumption was relatively large, Xiaohong and Xiaona from the housekeeping depar**ent brought us mineral water and quilts, which was really meticulous care. Breakfast was what the two little ghosts looked forward to the most. I met the enthusiastic aunt Wang Li again, who kept helping the children get things and also took my favorite American for me. When the children were reluctant to check out, they said that they would stay in this hotel next time they come to Yantai. Just when they were about to leave, they received a gift from Uncle Li Xiaocheng. It was such a surprise. The children were very happy and said that they would give this hotel 120 points. After staying in so many hotels, this hotel really impressed us. This is a warm hotel with just the right service temperature. Thanks to Niu Xueqing, Liu Yanhui, Xiaoqing, Xiaohong, Xiaona, Wang Li, and Li Xiaocheng for bringing the children wonderful memories.

This hotel is super cost-effective, the front desk lady is warm and thoughtful, the check-in is skilled and professional, the room is very good overall, clean and tidy, the bedding and mattress are very comfortable, the hotel is in a good location and convenient transportation, quite good, share it with everyone.

This is my first time staying at Atour Hotel. I was really surprised. It was very unique from the moment I entered the lobby. It is said that this is the new version of Atour 4.0. I really like this tune. The service was great. I am a bit careless. After checking in, I accidentally lost my backpack while walking on the beach. It contained some very important items for me, but I searched for it two or three times but couldn't find it. I had no choice but to go back to the hotel and tell the girl at the front desk about this. Unexpectedly, after learning about it, the hotel front desk immediately organized staff to search along the place where I walked along the beach. After more than two hours of hard work, I finally found it. I was very excited to get it back because it contained a photo of my husband and I and our wedding ring. I am very grateful to all the partners at Atour Hotel. After learning about my situation, the hotel manager specially prepared a commemorative photo album to make this memory more beautiful. I have also become a loyal fan of Atour Hotel and will choose this hotel again when I travel in the future.

I had a big room to myself, felt a little underutilized but overall, very comfortable. The toilet is also very big and can be used by two persons at a time, so wasted and I am alone this time. Everything is good except perhaps lighting in bathroom especially the vanity area can be brighter so that I can see my make up clearer :)! One more comment about the power point at bedside, as I do not have international adaptor, so I have to charge my phone at study table area. It will be nice if they can also have the international power point like the one at the study table. Very good spread of buffet breakfast just that I found food (bacon, sausages and noodles) is not warm. Anyway, there are other warmer food available too. Above are my personal comments which do not affect the rating of the hotel. Of course, if those are being improved than this hotel will score 110% from me.
