While I don't expect the linens to be changed daily, I do believe the bed should at least be made properly. I hope this can be improved in the future."

"Let's start with the downsides: Since the family room can accommodate three adults, there should be three sets of towels, bath towels, tooth mugs, drinking glasses, and coffee cups, not just two. Even children or teenagers need their own bath towel and tooth mug. Also, the curtain button was sometimes a bit unresponsive. Now for the positives: 1. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. You can walk to the South Gate of Slender West Lake, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. 2. The breakfast was good; while not exceptionally lavish, it had everything you'd expect. The coffee came from a machine and tasted great. 3. The terraces on four of the floors are a major highlight! Breakfast is on the 11th floor (top floor), and on a nice day, you can dine on the terrace, enjoying the lush forest view and a distant glimpse of the Qiling Pagoda while being shielded from the sun – a fantastic experience. You can also enjoy the night view in the evening. 4. The hairdryer is a Dyson, and in the lobby downstairs, there's a coffee machine, tea, hot water, and bottled water available."

"This newly opened hotel offers excellent service. Both the rooms and the overall environment are of a five-star standard. I'd recommend it to anyone who's interested. It's also quite close to the Grand Canal Museum. Upon checking in, we received complimentary welcome fruits and desserts. The only minor issue was a slight lingering smell from the renovation, but I imagine that will dissipate in a few months, especially since it only opened in January and we visited during the Chinese New Year holiday. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely return."

My parents were very comfortable staying here. I recommend the private bathing room, perfect for families, as it allows for privacy upstairs and downstairs, and it comes with a large hot tub. Another plus is that the B&B is pet-friendly, allowing cats and dogs to stay with no additional cleaning fees. The location is excellent, right in the Dongguan Street scenic area, with plenty of places to explore right outside. Parking is free, and the complimentary yogurt and coffee are delicious. I think the price is very reasonable and a great value. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yangzhou!"

"The hotel is directly opposite Wanda Plaza, which makes dining, ordering takeout, and getting taxis incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy. CC at the front desk was very friendly and provided genuinely warm service. She gave us detailed information about nearby facilities, dining options, and attractions. The service at YiHua is truly heartwarming. I'll definitely choose to stay at YiHua again next time I visit Yangzhou! Highly recommend!"

"Treasure Hotel in Slender West Lake Scenic Area – Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort [Junnxi's Life Diary – Only Real Reviews] Decided to stay at this hotel within the scenic area for a day trip to Yangzhou, and it truly is a hidden gem. In the morning, we booked the alpaca wake-up service, and my child was so excited to feed the alpacas. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety and everything tasted great, highly recommend. There's also a small petting zoo within the hotel, featuring deer, ducklings, black swans, alpacas, bunnies, and more. The only downside is that my child didn't want to leave! We only explored less than a third of what the hotel has to offer. We didn't have time for the hot springs, swimming pool, or children's playground. We'll definitely be back to stay again!"

In the late Qing Dynasty, wealthy salt merchants lived in what is now the Guangling Road area of Yangzhou's old town, using the north-south Grand Canal and the east-west Yangtze River to transport salt. The hotel was converted from a century-old vault that had business dealings with the Rishengchang Draft Bank in Pingyao Ancient City, Shanxi, for decades. Given that 'You Xiong' (which translates to 'Has Bear') is a hotel brand under Vanke, the real question is: does it or does it not have a bear?"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the old town of Guoching Road in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, next to Pishi Street. There are plenty of food options and convenience stores nearby. I booked a courtyard room, which was quite quiet. The staff were very polite, but my takeaways weren't delivered to my room multiple times, which needs improvement. There are no electric scooters at the entrance, so it's a bit of a walk to Dongguan Street. Occasionally, there are a few electric scooters, but they're quite old. The laundry room was clean, and the cleaning staff were also very polite. The hotel proactively sent out Yangzhou travel guides and recommended shops, though I had a bit of trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi the first time."
